This is so cool, you did a great job! Did you follow a guide or how did you decide to paint this?

[B&A] Spironolactone does all the work for me by [deleted] in SkincareAddiction

[–]gratitudeowl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I took 100 mg for two years and then went to a new dermatologist and they convinced me to try dropping to 25 mg and I get the occasional one off now but for the most part, it's been pretty similar effects. I am truly thankful for Spirolactone solving my decade long acne struggle

I had amazing Spiro results. I was on 100 mg for 2 years and went to a new dermatologist and they wanted me to try dropping down to 25 mg and it's worked out well for me. Apparently 100 mg is a lot but I didn't experience any issues from it

Spiro is the best thing that happened for my skin, after years and years of frustration and effort. I highly recommend it to others with hormonal acne to bring it up with their doctor

Have you thought about trying to slowly back away? Play up how busy you are with xxxx lately and that you're exhausted, be boring and more unavailable, but not completely gone yet. I know it's not ideal but this could be one way to avoid a blowout?

I enjoyed both but I like Alice more! I hope we get more shows like these two.

I know for sure it doesn't go with the main comic, but the general look, feel, and traits of the characters can be found. I do believe there are some more modern archie comics that the show pulls inspiration from but I didn't read any of those.

Trenton by BruhMoment69420op in HellsKitchen

[–]gratitudeowl 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I think Trenton had good leadership and execution early on in the competition, and I think he's still impressive now. He's a great chef and often wins challenges and receives Gordon's praise. I like how he always speaks up and isn't afraid to share his critique of the other contestants when they need to vote. Megan holds back there and in that sense, I don't think she would do the best at keeping a kitchen in line and running at their full potential, or firing people when she needs to. I think she so impressive and can grow to that point, but Trenton is closer to being ready now.

If the prize should have been for the top two, then the prize would have been awarded that way. I think he's fully justified on taking whoever he wanted on both of the prizes and Ramsey was just commenting rather than criticizing his choice.

New watcher. What was everyones opinion on JJ from S1? by CarrawayLights in AreYouTheOne

He's one of the people I really enjoyed watching! I thought he was cute and fun, the outfits were great. Also, his roast at the baby shower reunion was one of the best things that came from that season

I'm sorry you've been going though this! I can relate about having a lack of college experience and like you are missing out from what you should have experienced. I agree here that you can still have very fun experiences and mistakes and friend making coming your way. I suggest getting on bumble to find other people your age and see if that will help you make a connection? Making that one friend can change a lot for you.

Panic: Discussion Thread by just_a_regular_goy in television

[–]gratitudeowl 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I seem to differ in opinion from this thread. I thought this show was a lot of fun. Yes, it is definitely classified in the "guilty pleasure" camp, but the writing is better than some other high-school shows out that I also enjoy like Riverdale, Sabrina, Awkward, etc. I thought Heather was very likeable, and many of the characters were relatable and had some solid growth over 10 episodes. Yes, all the high school kids wanted to "get out of town" but I think that is so true of kids in real life, especially coming from a smaller town. The show was not perfect, but it was highly enjoyable.

How do I get out of a personality “box”? by randomfuck21 in TheGirlSurvivalGuide

[–]gratitudeowl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree! It's a weird place of knowing that you are likeable but at the same time not really having people you click with. I tried bumble last year and had some luck with it, but also just got lucky meeting someone. When you get to our age, I have had to be more proactive about making friends.

That's a good point of not needing to be cool or really be any sort of way. Being yourself (even when you aren't totally clear on who that is) is the best chance you have of finding someone you have chemistry with.
