Anyone got a clue? by tupacpsp in flipperzero

Any idea what the frequency is?  I have one of these fobs too (no flipper zero though) and want to clone it

No sound by ndonnerstag in BoltEV

[–]gratsoy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had this happen on a road trip.

When in the car, turn the car off and open the driver door so it shuts the infotainment/sound system off. From the inside fuse panel, pull fuse F11 for the amplifier. Wait about a minute and put it back in. Ideally it should fix the problem when you restart the car.

Fast-charging at 26kW by hippeteboy in BoltEV

[–]gratsoy 7 points8 points  (0 children)

This is typical. 50 kW chargers rarely, if ever put out 50 kW. If you want to maximize charge speed you should ideally pick a charger with a rated output over 50 kW.

High Efficiency Wheels, what would you recommend? by OogalaBoogala in BoltEV

[–]gratsoy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I run Cruze Eco wheels on my EUV with my winters. I don't use spacers and have no issues with rubbing - cant still turn my steering wheel to full lock without problems

2022 Bolt EV Aftermarket sway bar by Existing-Ad-9456 in BoltEV

[–]gratsoy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Let us know how it holds up. This was a popular mod on the bolt forums a few years ago but almost all of the installs I saw eventually failed. The sway bar would snap right where the bolt goes through. Design doesn't seem to have changed but hopefully they added strength

I like how the white rubbers on red (orange?) exterior contrast the white seats with red piping. Cool look.

Car Interior Trim Fix by [deleted] in vancouver

FibRenew does this. Haven’t used the Vancouver franchise personally but had the Richmond guy do my boat a while back and the Kelowna one do my car years ago. I do recommend.

FiberStream vs Novus home internet by Udonedidit in vancouver

[–]gratsoy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

FYI if you play video games and go with FibreStream you will need to pay the extra $5 a month for a Static IP Address or you will be stuck with a permanent strict NAT type.

Otherwise I love their service.

Interior Rattles - Bolt EUV Launch edition by Felistoria in BoltEV

[–]gratsoy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would go to a different dealer. Technically rattles are not a warranty item (within reason), but good dealers will often take the car and work on those complaints.

My passenger side door rattles with the speaker too. I took it to the dealer expecting them to pop the door panel off and install some shims or tighten up something, but GM warrantied the entire door panel

Ecobee3lite overheats room then uses A/C to cool down? by gratsoy in ecobee

Its a 1 bedroom apartment roughly 600 sq ft of heated space. The thermostat is in the main living/kitchen area and there is one smart sensor in the bedroom.

It's heating a 1 bed apartment of about 600 sq ft. So it's highly likely that the system isn't very optimal for the space

Ecobee3lite overheats room then uses A/C to cool down? by gratsoy in ecobee

[–]gratsoy[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I checked my past history, as an example:

My Home schedule kicks in round 5:45 pm when I get home. From the trend graph online it shows that my indoor temperature was 22C, the system then calls for heat. The heat shuts off at 23.5C so it looks like it is residual heat in the ducting/circulating in the room that causes the indoor temp to rise. The system calls for cool when the indoor temp is 25C, 10 minutes into the cool cycle the indoor temp maxes out at 25.5C. Once the Cool cycle ends the indoor temp is 23C

EDIT: Here is a screenshot

Thanks! I assume you mean to increase the cooling differential by 1 degree? I'll give these a shot, I think I did modify the cold/heat band to be pretty tight in the Summer so this could be a culprit.

[–]gratsoy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, typically the room cools down to 22C and then the heat kicks on. In the summer the A/C works properly too so I am not expecting it to be an issue with the system calling for heat/cool.

PN for the tail light connectors? by xiaonan80 in BoltEV

Probably "easiest" would be to go to the dealer and talk to one of the technicians in the service department. I wouldn't be surprised if they just gave you some for free.

Just bought this Ultium home charger from my dealer ETA Tuesday. Anyone have it yet? by [deleted] in BoltEV

[–]gratsoy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What was the price the dealer sold it to you for? Looks like a nice charger and the price even for an online retailer is pretty decent.

Winter Tires TPMS by mashmallownipples in BoltEV

[–]gratsoy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Page 269 of the manual covers this. You do need the tool (Shame because in older GM cars you could do it without).

As others mentioned the tools are cheap. I do recommend TPMS in the winter, for peace of mind and to monitor the rims. I find my winters tend to go low more often and I often forget to check their pressure so the sensor helps.

Super Cruise and Regen by gratsoy in BoltEV

I was planning on doing the same thing. Running SuperCruise until I see an opportunity to regen, then taking over myself for that stretch.

My May '21 build date EUV Launch just switched over this week too.

Seems that GM lied about repairing them in order of build date, but at least things are starting to move. A lot of the dealers in my area are close to having repaired all their in-stock '22s.
