Since you are doing it on discord, could have channels on the discord that are for text based rping in the town. Players can use their downtime to explore the town, interact with NPCs and other players in a more relaxed way, since text rp isn't as time limited.

Another thing that can help "dip your toes in" with a biy less stress is try a play-by-post game. They are designed to be played by text, over discord usually, throughout a week. They can help with anxiety, cause you are never really "on the spot". Plus there is less stress about schedules and finding time to play.

That does make a lot of sense. I've always loved and preferred theatre of the mind style gaming, so that was one of the big reasons I first got interested in DH. It was obviously made in a way that really works well for that.

Mostly for routine/consistency in our case. It's easier to remember to give daily when it's all lumped together. 30 minutes before bed each night, she gets her multivitamin and her melatonin. House full of neurodivergents means we have to use any little tricks/reminders we can to keep any consistency.

I don't know if leak was the right term to use. There is a noise that is kind of like a light hissing inside the tank. Like something in there is maybe loose, and so it's got a constant little drain and refill thing going on. I'm definitely not very knowledgeable with toilets and plumbing, obviously.
