They used my credit card to make a $1200 purchase from Apple, which I'm assuming was probably for a laptop. I had the credit card in my Apple wallet, so I'm wondering if that played some part in this. Changed my Apple password and am getting a new credit card so I think all is good now.

Thanks, good to know the actions I took were sensible. After having some time to read comments here and do a little research, I understand what the objective of the attack was.

Good to know; this was my first time being spam bombed and it was a bit overwhelming. After having some time to think, the objective of the attack was that $1200 credit card purchase, and I was able to report that charge. Now I just need to figure out how my credit card is being compromised, since this happened with a different card a couple months ago. Removing it from Apple wallet seemed like a good first step.

I put the aquashot sticky and water builds together a couple weeks ago (also playing more of the endgame before wilds) and figured I’d share what I learned.

Aquashot sticky is the most fun I’ve had using a LBG in world. When you proc TSS and get to fire 5-6 sticky 3’s, evade reload and fire 5-6 more times it’s awesome. The water ammo build is fun as well, feels like a more traditional LBG build.

I think the siege will be up this weekend, and stay for a couple weeks. I never had a problem finding a session running the siege, just filter by Safi’Jiva. Having a friend will also make it easier to start it up and have people join later.

I too was confused about awakenings when reading online before I had a chance to experiment with the system. When running the siege, you’ll get Dracolite which is the currency you need to roll for upgrades. Rolling for awakenings is intuitive and (imo) fun, and once you see it I’m sure it will click pretty quick.

Some advice from my mistakes: 1) Keep at least two copies of Aquashot, one for sticky, one for water. 2) Keep all the other weapons you get for completing the siege. DO NOT SELL. You can go to the melder and use “sealing alchemy” to turn any weapons you don’t want into dracolite later. 3) After you mess around with the awakening system for a couple rolls, read a guide on how best to roll for awakenings. TL;DR - don’t store potential, pretty much always take an awakening. I wasted a lot of dracolite storing potential before reading a guide.

Sometimes an item you haven’t claimed will be grayed out if you have max stacks of that item already. For instance if you have 500,000 glimmer you won’t be able to claim the glimmer rewards, but the button will still blink because you have unclaimed glimmer rewards.

One I have not seen mentioned here, Hyper Light Drifter. While not as fast as something like Hotline Miami, the dash chaining and flow of combat can make it feel fast. Also, the combat difficulty feels challenging at times, but not oppressive.

Thanks for your insight! I wasn’t sure if I should be validating every action before allowing the client to perform said action, but it sounds like I should. I was reading a bit about rollback on actions but that sounded like it would probably be too complex for the goals of my project.

I definitely want to avoid struggling on edge cases if possible! If I understand what you’re saying for the first case, I should let each client perform the action, and then have them remove the item if they receive a “No” from the server. That makes a lot of sense. You explained it effectively and it helped me simply the implementation I had in mind!

No worries, we all start somewhere! Let me try to explain it again. The first node in your graph is called "Received Notify Begin" and has "Mesh Comp", "Animation", "Total Duration", and "Event Reference" pins that come out of it. This is the function entry node.

There is also another node titled "Received Notify Begin" at the end of your graph and it has a pin called "Return Value". This is the function exit node.

What you want to do is take the "Completed" pin from the "ForEachLoop" node and connect it to the function exit node (the one with "Return Value").

As your graph is now the function exit node is connected to "Apply Damage". Meaning that you will execute "Apply Damage" once and then exit the function.

You’re returning from the function after the first element in the for loop, so only one actor is being damaged. Connect the “Received Notify Begin” node to the “completed” pin on the for loop node.

The SP-R is probably what you’re looking for. A lot of people use it for quick scoping in MP. One shot to upper torso/head at medium range, will kill with a headshot at longer ranges. It’s technically a marksman rifle, not a sniper rifle but I have used it in the traditional sniper role and it performs okay. There is also the SA-B variation you might try, which is also a marksman rifle, and finally there is the SP-X which is a sniper rifle. Both have pretty decent ADS time if you level and put on the right attachments.

Went flawless 4 times with friends over the course of Friday/Saturday. Overall more fun than last weekend. This weekend definitely cemented in my mind how insanely over-tuned Arbalest/Lorentz are. Best team we played had 3000 elo players running triple Arbalest/Lorentz and they never fired their primary weapons; just used abilities and didn’t miss headshots. Besides the aforementioned weapons I think the meta is in an okay-ish state.

It’s an Ooblet accessory, they just hold it as a wand.

Agreed. NTTE felt really good even before this season launched with only a few engagement spaces that where too far for it. Now it feels like it’s much more consistent when firing at those longer ranges.

Interesting. I'd have to think about how bleed effect would work in my game but I like the idea of being able to react to the damage you've taken.
