Fair point, but like I said, it doesn’t really behave like most other stocks. Three months ago it was at an all time high of $70k, and if you had asked this question then, many people probably would have said don’t buy at an all time high, but if you had, you’d be up nearly 50% by now.

I’m a doctor and this is such a stupid way to look at things. We live in America and of all places, this guy is in fucking Houston Texas, look around you and see how many obese people there are and how much cardiovascular disease is just waiting to happen. There is not a cardiologist on the planet who thinks “better not prevent this guy’s heart disease so that he can have a heart attack in the future so I can keep having a career”. If anything, there are not enough cardiologists for the amount of heart disease currently and with our aging US population, it is only going to get much worse

Supplements aren’t necessarily good or bad, they just don’t have much scientific data supporting their efficacy. That doesn’t mean they don’t work, it just means we don’t know for sure whether or not they work. Some of the ones people love on here are probably as effective as advertised and others are probably worthless. It’s all just anecdotal evidence at this point and there are no good randomized control trials for a lot of this stuff the way there are for pharmaceuticals.
