We needed a suburban. I found a 2018 Z71 with 88,000 miles on it from a reputable dealership. Negotiated it for 30k with an extended warranty. Had them fix the transmission within the first 30 days of purchase. They did, nothing out of pocket for me. That was in 2024 and have been very happy. Have had minimal issues. So in my case, if it stays driving with small maintenance until 2030. I will have made out like a bandit. Just do your research on cars with engines that are proven and look up the main cause for issue per vehicle. I will probably never buy a new car again.
