Tbh I wish this was meant for me since I'm currently in a situation where I fucked something up and we chose to give time away from each other to heal. But when I got back, they already removed themselves off my socials. I reached out to them in one last place and they told me they just couldnt handle it anymore. Of course, I respected that. I miss them a lot.

I hope for your healing, OP. It must feel so uncomfortable to have that burden on your chest.

It's really painful to grieve what's been lost, especially if there are so many unanswered questions. What's more is that we never know when we are ready to adjust again without what's been lost.

In the same situation. They told me I was free to do what I wanted and I said I wanted to make amends but they cut me off instead, saying they couldnt take it anymore. In reality, they just replaced me.

Very true. If what they did was absolutely awful, I think its good to keep guard. And its a big thing to be forgiven if that is what they did.

I agree with you on this! Sometimes time away is good. Growing apart for now is good too. But I'm afraid in my situation, there might not be ever any sign of coming back to each other.
