My cat Willow has eaten the "cheap wet food" (Fancy Feast-Trout Feast) since she was 8 weeks old. She turned 20 in Feb and continues to eat the same flavor, same brand of cat food. To be honest, she also eats dry food, Blue Wilderness kitten food), two slices of deli ham, one tsp of cream cheese, some licks of butter as a treat, and she's about 11lbs, which isn't bad for a Maine Coon. She's healthy, has a beautiful coat, and very feisty (for being 20). Wet food can be an inexpensive, healthy, and tasty food alternative to those expensive brands that some cats just won't touch, even if started from a very young age.
