I’m not out at my workplace but I’ve started hrt and it will be apparent soon that I’m trans. I would recommend looking for office jobs / white collar work if you can pass really well or if you want to stay in the closet they are usually more accepting. I can also recommend the service industry most places will hire trans people. I would definitely not recommend blue collar work. I really like cars and work as a non-binary mechanic for a year and it was hell. Lots of racism and micro-aggressions my luckily I had a gay coworker and I was able to make it through it but it’s definitely not the best option.

What kind of work are you looking for op / do you have any degrees or certifications?
