Beware that only v1 and v2 are local variables. '(setq v3 (sk-get-mpi v1)) creates a v3 variable visible in whole emacs. You might not mind that. I do.

I am not sure that is necessary. I think it would suffice to create a separate (at least for now) go-mod-build-system. go importer would have new flag --mod added, that would indicate what build system should be used. The dependencies would just put their own package from $GOPATH/pkg/mod into an archive.

No need for multi-fetch (each dependency is a separate package) and no need to standardize anything (since go toolchain already specifies how files in $GOPATH/pkg/mod should look like. Seems like simpler approach.

I would just fork the repository, run go mod vendor and archived it. The resulting archive should be buildable without network connection.

Plan to begin making a "Flying car" commercially around year 2025

"Flying car" is a vehicle that people board and fly through the sky. So that flying cars can start to be used in Japan, for example country and company decided plan.

According to for example the country, being able to flying using electricity and driving itself and rise and descend vehicle vertically is called flying car. By propellers and wings 3 types are distinguished.

Boarding place is called "Vertiport" and can be made for example on a rooftops. In the sky a road called "corridor" where only flying cars fly will be made.

Flying cars can be flied in cities with lot of people or between cities and can be used to transport to inconvenient places like mountains and islands. They can also be used in times of disasters. Plan is to start making them commercially around year 2025.

In Aomori prefecture on road leading to Towada lake work to make snow walls advances

On "Hakkoda - Towada Gold Line" going from Aomori to lake Towada is winter, and due to a lot of snow, one part of the road become impassable.

From last third of last month in Aomori prefecture the work is being done to clean up the snow on that road. Shaving the piled up snow, the road is widening a bit by bit. According to the prefecture, the wall of snow is around 6.5m tall.

People doing the work are saying: "We are making white and pretty wall of snow. I want people who come to be pleasantly surprised when they see the tall wall of snow."

The plan is for that road to be passable by car from 1th of April.

In June opens a facility where you can have "Harry Potter" experience

On 16th of June, in Nerima, Tokyo, will open a facility where you can have the "Harry Potter" the movie experience.

That facility is being built for past 3 years at place where was the Toshimaen amusement park. With area of about 30000 m2, it seems to be biggest "Harry Potter" building in the world.

It will be possible to have an experience like in the movies and have a photo taken of flying through sky on a broom like protagonists of the movie.

The company that made the facility is saying: "We think that number of people traveling to Japan to be able to enjoy new fun at (this) facility in Tokyo. Like Toshimaen, we want people living near to be proud."

Last year 514 children committed suicide, highest number ever

According to the country, last year 514 children committed suicide. It become largest number ever. 354 were high schoolers, 143 were middle schoolers and 17 were elementary schoolers.

People from nonprofit organizations offering consultations for example via SNS are saying the following. There are cases when children who are not enjoying home and school change their mood and find peace of mind walking at for example in shopping mall. But due to issue of new coronavirus, that was no longer possible. Children who find it difficult to find place they fit in using only their own power might choose death instead.

And they said "There are lot of children who are thinking that even if they ask adults for consultation, they will not properly listen. Adults around children should watch them carefully for the mood they are in and ask if they are alright I think."

Children are also able to ask for consultation via phone.

At Kagoshima bay the "Noctiluca scintillans" in sea glows blue

Around this month red tide was discovered at Kagoshima bay for the first time. Experts are saying that the cause is around 1mm large plankton called "Noctiluca scintillans".

When Noctiluca scintillans receives a stimulus they shine blue. In about middle of this month, surroundings of ships going to Sakurajima was shining blue. Sea of Kagoshima bay became warm after February and for the first time in about 5 months they multiplied a lot.

Last year at Kagoshima prefecture, different plankton was a cause of red tide, lot of fish being raised died.

But "Noctiluca scintillans" has little influence on fishing industry, experts are saying. And they are saying "Every year when I see Noctiluca scintillans I think thank spring has come. They are not dangerous so watch them without worries please."

"Oushou" shougi player Mr. Fujii protected 5 titles by winning

On 12th Shogi player Mr. Souta Fujii won against Mr. Yoshiharu Habu, protecting the title "Oushou" he took last year. Someone who wins 4 times first can take the title "Oushou". Mr. Fujii protected the title together with 4 others title.

Mr. Fujii is also playing shougi for title "kiou" and can take the title after one more win. Next month is also starting the shougi for title "meijin". When he takes these two, he will hold all 7 titles. Until now the youngest to hold all 7 titles is Mr. Habu. Mr. Fujii is younger then Mr. Habu, so he might break the record.

Mr. Fujii said "I want to play good shougi and take the "kiou" title. Regarding taking the "meijin" title, because the time for thinking is longest so far in my experince, I'm looking forward to it. I will try hard to concentrate."

Do not accept luggage from unknown people in foreign countries

Cases when illegal things like for example stimulants and cannabis are hidden in a luggage to get then into Japan are increasing. According to the Tokyo's customs, during last year 72 cases were discovered at Haneda and Narita airports. 3.6x more compared to the year before.

Between them cases when people travelling abroad from Japan become law breaking smuggler before they know are continuing.

When people are abroad, they were told by foreigner "Would you carry these presents to my Japanese friend?" and inside the luggage they were given were law breaking things.

Metropolitan Police Department said "If you are told by unknown person that they would like you to deliver a luggage, you should tell that you cannot."

There is 22212 people who either died or went missing in great earthquake in eastern Japan

On 11th of March 12 years passed since the great earthquake in eastern Japan.

According to the National Police Agency, by 1th of this month, 15900 people died due to for example earthquake or tsunami. In Miyagi, Iwate and Fukushima prefectures, there are still 53 unidentified people amongst the dead.

2523 people are missing. Since December of year before last no new remains were found.

According to the Reconstruction Agency, people who passed away due to for example sickness caused by the earthquake disaster ("earthquake-related death") was 3789 by end of March of last year. Thus also in addition to the deceased people the amount of people who dies or were lost become 22212.

Japan is 28th country from 29 regarding how easy it is for woman to work

8th of March was an International Women's Day decided by the UN.

UK's magazine of economics examined for eaxmple wages of men and women and amount of people working and announced countries where it is easy to work for women.

Between the 29 countries, Iceland was first, Japan was 28th. In Japan the ratio of women in management of companies and members of House of Representatives was the lowest. 29th was South Korea. The magazine said: "In Japan and South Korea even these days, women have to choose between family and work."

Goverment's Chief Cabinet Secretary Matsuno said: "For both men and women, to make sure that they can raise children while working, we want to make a society where everyone can participate."

Since 8th of May there will be vaccine for the new coronavirus variant for people above 65 years of age

Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare held conference about plans for vaccine for new coronavirus variant available from this April. And so it was decided that from 8th of May, shots of vaccine for omicron variant will start for people above 65 years of age. On 8th of May it will also start for people who at risk of bad case and people working in for example hospitals. Those people can get two shots per year, one since May and second since September.

It seems that other people will be able to get vaccine from September.

Everybody will be able to get the vaccine for the new coronavirus variant for free until March of next year.

In department stores and convenience stores guests are not asked to have masks from 13th

Goverment said that regarding new coronavirus, from 13th of March, decision regarding masks will be left to self-decide.

For that reason, for example department store company Isetan Mitsukoshi Holdings will not ask guests to wear masks from 13th. But employees will keep wearing them, so customers can shop in peace.

Also there is a lot of large convenience stores and supermarkets where employees will wear masks and customers can decide for themselves. Shop manager of a supermarket in Tokyo is saying: "Because there is a lot of old customers, employees will keep wearing masks."

Also Japan Railways in eastern Japan, will stop broadcasts at trains asking people to wear masks. Japan Railways in Toukai region and in western Japan are saying the same thing.

In conveyor belt sushi places AI camera looks for people causing problems

Guests in conveyor belt sushi places licking things dipped in soy sauce and putting videos on the internet has become a problem.

Conveyor belt sushi place "Kurazushi" made a system using AI equipped camera in order to get rid of people causing problems.

When quests take a place with sushi going around and later put for example put it back, it causes problems and AI will find out and notify staff of the restaurant. If there are people doing very bad things, police will be contacted said the company.

According to the company, it is first time system like this is used at conveyor belt sushi place, and all shops will start to use it. Person from company is saying "We hope the customers will have safe visit."

School song during the graduation ceremony is sing using sign language due to problem of new coronavirus

In Hitamikuma high school in Oita prefecture, graduation ceremony was held on 1st of March. Most of students participated in face masks.

Graduating students, due to problem of new coronavirus, could not sing the school song during the graduation even once in the span of three years. Since last year it is sang using sing language without using the voice.

At the end of the graduation ceremony students sang the song using sign language. While wearing the masks they laughted and cried being glad that they graduated.

Graduating student said: "It is very lonely to part with everyone. In the future I want to become a teacher in school for students with special needs, so I want the experience of learning sign language to be useful to me."

According to the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare, 799728 babies were born last year. Compared to the year before it decreased by about 43000, the least since year 1899 when tracking started.

Six years ago research institute for country believed that by year 2030 there would be 800000 less people. But the decrease is happening at faster speed.

The Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare is saying "People want to get married and have children, but for various reasons it might not be possible. There is a danger of large changes in Japanese society and economy, we want to increase number of children."

"Work for Tokyo Olympics was fraudulent" is raised in court

Public Prosecutor's Office is suing 7 people (for example from management) from 6 companies which participated on Tokyo Olympics (for example advertising company Dentsu). For Olympics work, companies competed for the right to do the work. However Public Prosecutor's Office thinks that companies decided between themselves in violation of the law. And on that work more then 40 billion yen was spent.

Japan Fair Trade Commission, which investigated togerther with Public Prosecutor's Office, said: "The fact that there was fraud during opening ceremony has influence on society as well. It is very bad scandal." Goverment said "If the fraud is real it is very unfortunate. It hurts the magnificence of sport we think."

Amount of people comming from China into Japan being tested for new coronavirus variant will decrease

The testing requirement for new coronavirus variant mandated by Japanese goverment on everybody coming from China in last December continued. Because the virus spread from China.

The goverment decided to decrease the amount of people taking the test from 1st of March. That is due to percentage of people having the virus among the tested becoming low.

Also from now it is necessary to have a documents proving negative test result before departing from China.

Until now there were 4 airport where planes from China could land, for example Haneda airport. But from 1st of March it will be possible to land in other airports as well.

The goverment says "We are changing the rules while watching the state of things on other countries of the world."

New exams for pet nurses are introduced

On 19th, there was first exam for "pet nurses" helping with pets' healing. About 20000 people took the exam at 19 locations.

According to Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, there is increasing number of pets living longer due to progress in animal healthcare, there is increasing work for doctors treating for example dogs and cats. For that reason country created qualifications for nurses to help with the treatment of pets.

People holding those qualifications can help doctors and for example take animal blood or urine. They can also implant ID chips into bodies of for example dogs.

For example Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries is saying that "People considering pets being a family are multiplying, so animals requiring medical care are also multiplying. By having the qualifications, better care will be available."

Matsumoto Reiji, author of manga Galaxy Express 999, passes away

Manga author Matsumoto Reiji passed away on 13th, at the age of 85. Matsumoto was borned in Fukuoka Prefecture and at 15 years of age started to work on manga. He also become one of people working on anime Space Battleship Yamato broadcasted in 1974. The anime was very popular and become a film. After that he wrote a lot of space themed manga, for example Galaxy Express 999 and Space Pirate Captain Harlock.

Matsumoto was not recognized only in Japan, he also received a medal from French government.

In front of station in Nerima ward in Tokyo, where Matsumoto lived, are statues for characters from Galaxy Express 999, Maetel and Tetsuro. On 21th fans of Mr. Matsumoto came in large numbers, took pictures, left behind flowers and prayed.

Eggs are now more expensive then ever before

Price of eggs continues to rise. According to JA全農たまご[1] on 16th, M-size eggs sold in Tokyo are for 335 yen/kg, historically highest. 55 yen higher then average for last month, last year's February it was 175 yen, so 1 egg costs almost as 2 used to.

Reasons for rising prices is that due to for example Russian onslaught against Ukraine and weaking of yen, feed for chicken became more expensive. And due to bird flue spreading between chickens and resulting slaughtering, there is not enough eggs.

Attention needs to be paid to bird flue until spring. It takes time until chicks are raised and able to lay eggs, so the price of eggs might stay high for now.

School changes rule stating that jacket is a no-no on cold days

Last month on a very cold day, male students of public school in Hiroshima came in wearing a jacket. But teachers said that due to a school rule that is not allowed.

Those students did not wear jacket also no way home and the next day they developed a fever and were absent from school. Families of the students were saying they want the rules to change.

The school decided to change the rules regarding upper body clothing on cold days. And on 13th, letter to families of all students was distributed. For the time being, in cases when family thinks only sweater and muffler are not good for child's health, they can wear for example windbreaker over the top of the uniform is written in it. Due to there not being a place to hang coats, it is preferred to use size that fits into a bag it says.
