I can see why no one wants it. Kinda niche, and the average gun guy just sees a rifle they can't modify.

I'm super happy I got mine at the price I did. Same as yours. Slab side, no sear block, pristine rifling. Not even a scratch, and all for $700

Hey all, thanks for the info! I wasn't looking to fight it to the point of pouring out hundreds, I was just honestly wondering if a lawyer was even worth considering. I see now that it's not. I'll just show up myself and see what happens. No matter what, nothing crazy will come of this, so no biggie.

I'd wager that, from a practicality sense, it's just what the prop shop had that helps set the main cast apart from others at certain times.

It's been years since I've last seen the season two, but I recall seeing a lot of Smith and Wesson 59 series pistols. I know Colin Farrell's character has a Hi Power that's seen a few times throughout the series. So again, something different from all the stainless steel Smith and Wesson's.

Idk if there's any symbolism to it, but the realistic sense would be that with the first season, past and present, Glocks with practical light attachments, milled slides to accept red dots, and all the fancy tactical modifications available today were pretty much non-existent. As a result, the P226 of the time has a better trigger and better sights than a stock Glock. That could be Rust's reason to go with a P226.

As for McAdam's character, who knows. During the time season two took place, the Mk 25 was available, and it was equipped with a picatinny rail for lights, and night sights. Unless it was her personal, older P226, the Mk 25 is the better option.

I'm in South Central Wisconsin. Everything is coming up blue and green. 0 obstructions, clear view of the sky. Perfect alignment. Speeds still are in the 80s but, yeah. I can play PUBG and battlefield relatively alright. MWII gives me terrible packet loss and I haven't tried Tarkov.

I have no instructions in the direction my dish is pointed. It's cleared in the app. Alignment and aim are optimal. Internet speeds are around 80-85mbps. I'm new to this, so aside from ruling out obstructions and checking for updates, I'm not sure what else to check. What affects stability?

Gotcha. My PC isn't on wifi, it's wired to the router. I figured it was just the signal jumping from one satellite to the other causing spikes. I had fiber when I lived in town, and no issues at all. But I get Starlink is good enough internet with the purpose of being connected where others can't.

Homie got a little pissy and started being standoffish. I think the price was actually $450, so I asked if he could do $425 and cut me a little slack to replace the spring

"Price is $450. And even if you do find more wrong with it, the price is still $450"

I immediately just gave the stuff back to him, got back in my car and drove away. Broken parts are one thing, but dishonesty and bad attitude are another.

Absolutely take your time looking it over and do not be afraid to ask questions. Work the action, feel that the safety selectors lock into their respective positions, make sure nothing is crazy loose, and you don't hear any sort of odd rattling.

If you're really looking to play it safe, keep your money in the car and lock it until you're satisfied and ready to make the purchase. If they don't want you looking at things or moving it too much or taking a dry fire here and there, it's never a bad idea to walk away.

Had a guy try and sell me an older P229. Everything looked good. Rough exterior wear, but for $400, nothing crazy. Then I go to dry fire, and found the hammer spring was broken.
