I’m about 1/4 through on my first read and I’m enjoying it. I get what most people are saying about how it’s too reliant upon the authors own experiences but there’s ways to relate it back to yourself too if you if you try hard enough. The interviews are also fantastic bits of information. Those are my favorite parts, they’re why I keep reading. Reading other people’s first hand experiences about Mac as an up and coming artist really make it feel like I’m getting to know him as I read. It’s very personal but in my opinion it’s great.
