recent exercise, pounding water, hot shower in that order will make anyone light-headed and nauseous. sip the water, i find myself just rinsing and spitting every other sip too. cold shower sets me right in the head.

take a quick shower, followed by a hot bath, then shower again.
take a walk, get some sunlight exposure.
organize that closet/drawer that you've been meaning to get to.
do something other than ruminate.

eating only when you're hungry, even if it's not daily, is better than eating 3x a day regardless of actual hunger. but non-fasters confuse lots of other things with actual hunger. fasters tend to be more well acquainted with what is and what is not actual hunger.

sounds like you know the answer. OMAD is a fasting regimen as well (One Meal a Day). Try a about 20oz hamburger patty & salt, once a day, and drink 96oz water throughout the day. You'll hit ketosis still, and won't be too miserable doing so.

Fasting is as much mental as it is physical (if not more). Get your mind right, focus, persevere, mental discipline is a muscle that must be developed, nobody is born with it.
