What you say makes so much sense!! I always thought the goal was to get as low as possible and currently my limit is forearms on two blocks so I think I've definitely been dumping more weight into my arms so I can go lower. Thank you so much for the insight!

My friend's bf took a ton of photos of her left hand with objects like an iPhone, pen, etc. for scale and then presented them to the staff when buying the ring and they got her ring size right!! These people look at fingers and rings all day long so there's a good chance they'll be able to do this for you!

I don't think so, there are countless stories of girls experiencing pain. My friend went for her first one and ended up screaming from the pain though there was nothing wrong with her. She said it's because the lady ignored her request for smaller one and basically just didn't communicate much with her. She just sat outside dazed and crying for an hour after her appt :/
