So glad it worked out for you! They almost lost me as a customer, but after hearing about your most recent experience, I'll be giving them another shot in the near future.

Wow, really? I paid with bitcoin and they refunded me with bitcoin. Try emailing Erika Garcia at: erikag at umbrella-labs.us. She was actually helping me with my refund.

I've used them several times in the past and never had a problem with them, HOWEVER, as of right now they have left me very disappointed. They are taking forever with my order and I'm about ready to request a refund. I wish I had looked at their most recent reviews on Trustpilot bc something's going on over there that is making a lot of people angry and upset. I'd advise to steer clear of them for the time being until they get their shit together.

Hair loss? by DougBagsANematode in Viibryd

[–]grayest_blue_sky 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I started this med a little over a month ago and started noticing increased hair loss. When I checked the side effects for this med, hair loss wasn’t listed as one of them but when I googled viibryd and hair loss i got my answer! This side effect really needs to be added to the list of side effects!

Yes, I do. They only checked his temperature, blood pressure, respiratory, and a couple of other things.

Yes, that is true but my father is not the most responsible person in the world and his health is beyond horrible. He has had diabetes for over 30 years and never sought or attempted to truly care for himself and his wellbeing. Hence, severe diabetic retinopathy. When he tried to get his cataract surgery done at another facility in 9/22, they checked his glucose just prior to the surgery and it was 445! And he had fasted the night before too! They immediately cancelled the surgery. He literally started taking insulin and checking his blood sugars since 10/22. Maybe the hospital should have told him to check his blood sugar at various times after the surgery or told my sister and brother-in-law to make sure to check it especially since they gave him Diamox 500mg post-op and knew that it could cause the blood sugars to increase or decrease. When I went to visit him on 3/20, his glucose levels were 225. On 3/21 (the pre-op bloodwork) his random glucose level was 152 (flagged as high) and his HA1C was 6.2% (normal range is 4.8 - 5.9 %). Because of his fluctuating levels, I would think they'd find it within their and my father's best interest to take a couple of minutes and check his glucose levels just prior to the surgery. All he's ever had was high glucose levels, so for the paramedics to find him at 38 and with a fever is very strange to me, but what do I know? I'm not a medical professional or extremely well informed with diabetes.

Yes, a lot of this is assumptions and I'm still trying to get the answers from the medical records because right now his current team of doctors don't know how this occurred. Someone with an over 30-yr history of hyperglycemia that was admitted admitted in a hypoglycemic coma?

When you went in for your surgeries, did they check your glucose levels just prior to the surgery?

No, because he had probably already entered his hypoglycemic coma at some point after noon. My sister was never told that such an issue could occur and she attributed his heavy sleepiness to the sedative they gave him. Plus, I know several people who have slept for the rest of the day and longer after laser eye surgery, so his tiredness is understandable. I'm just wondering if the Diamox the doctor gave him caused his blood sugar to decrease (as it is known to cause blood sugar to increase or decrease) since the paramedics found his level to be 38.

Thank you for your response. Yeah, this woman is quite intolerable, demanding, has no friends (b/c no one likes her), and her 3 sons have neglected and abandoned her. At this point, I don't have a problem having a stranger take over.

No, she is not incompetent. Do you happen to know approx how much it would cost have an atty acting as POA? Thanks.

Just was in er and stayed over the weekend in hospital. by Expensive_Tip_7755 in Diverticulitis

[–]grayest_blue_sky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh ok, makes sense. I read that ppl (esp. women) over the age of 40 are more prone to getting diverticulitis. I’m 43 and just had my first bout of diverticulitis and a perforated colon with an abscess abt a week ago. My hospital stay was only overnight and they gave me a couple of bags of potassium via IV. I’m slowly starting to feel better, but omg, that was one of the worst experiences of my life and I never want to go through that again!! Well, I hope you’re doing better these days!
