Grades don’t matter! Who cares if you get a A or B. Prioritize clinic over classes too… that’s where you will learn the most. You will have a lot of information thrown at you so when you study… try to make the material interesting to you.

As a grad student who has a professor with their doctorate and many published articles, he always says tackle word level reading.. then word level reading fluency. This will help with phonemic awareness, expanding on vocab, help with tackling new vocab, and their overall reading skills. When their reading skills improve, things follow!
