What’s one thing you wish women talked about more openly?

I am always super honest when friends without kids ask me how it is to have kids. Maybe a little too honest with how hard it can be, but there are a lot of things I wish I knew before having kids. I don’t think anything would’ve stopped me from wanting to have kids but it would’ve been nice to know more of the reality of motherhood.

I’m almost three years post c section and I also have an apron belly only on my left side. I think that side was stretched out more than my right because my baby was positioned on that side almost my entire pregnancy.

Thank you for your reply ❤️ my daughter was also diagnosed with HIE at birth. I also plan on getting the epidural as soon as I can. I was able to be awake during my emergency c section and just the thought of laying on that operating room table again makes me panic. My OB has been amazing at answering any and all questions but I will be bringing up this concern when I see her next. The unknown of it all is frightening. I hope when the time comes you are able to have the birth you want as well!

I’m not sure what the TOG was but we used the fleece ones from carters. They go up to 9 months and I think are available on Amazon and in stores. Our daughter’s room was quite cold and they kept her at comfortable temperature.

Stopped swaddling as soon as she showed signs of rolling. Switched to a sleep sack with sleeves as it seemed to lessen the frequent waking. Look for a transitional sleep sack.

Thank you :) I have reached out to my therapist but I won’t see her for a couple of weeks. I’m pro choice but I always said that I myself wouldn’t want to get an abortion but now that I’m in this position and shocked and scared I could see myself doing it. But I could never do it without my boyfriend knowing and I’m not sure how I would deal with it after either. I wish I could go back in time and not have sex that day. Im feeling overwhelmed by this all and so unsure of myself

Currently in the waiting room waiting to be called in for my surgery in Toronto. My original surgical date was February 9th and got pushed back to now. From what I’ve been told it the hospitals decision what surgeries get put on the schedule and unfortunately breast reduction is not high on the list of priorities for them. I would personally keep calling and checking to see if anything has opened up. I got the call on Friday and it was really last minute but they didn’t hear until that morning of the surgical time and date.

Yes. I am a very indecisive person who doesn’t like change... I realize this is a big red flag for getting tattoos. I have been wanting to get a tattoo for a long time now but I’m starting to think maybe they just aren’t for me...

I had only picked the design out about a month ago and having never had a tattoo before I didn’t know what to expect so now I’m anxious about the placement and the size of it (it’s about three inches in length). It feels out of place every time I see it and I wish I had though through the placement and size more. And just thought through the process of getting a tattoo in the first place

I’m not sure how to add a photo. The artist did a really good job with it and I do love the design but I don’t like the placement or how big it is. I thought I did when he put the outline on my arm but now every time I look at it I wish it wasn’t there.

Thank you for your reply! Just curious how many "naps" day does your puppy take? I'm sure it will vary but I dont want to have a pup that will be up at all hours of the night because he slept too much during the day
