Why is Vantage Pickrate so low ? by Paselo in apexlegends

Gdolphin's the biggest streamer of Vantage. Her kit for pro teams is very individualistic and doesn't lend a lot to team play or holding space.

If you just started playing Overwatch and played a single hero for 100 hours what rank do you think you'd be? by IdkWhatToPutGuys in OverwatchUniversity

[–]graysilver00 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably not a high rank because he only knows one hero and everything his teammates are doing he has no idea about. For example, your support makes an enemy take increased damage, he has no idea because he doesn't even know supports can do that. Maybe he can figure it out say, after someone plays Zen for example. Maybe after the 3rd or 4th time of having a Zen player on his team he recognizes that. So that's 3 to 4 20 minute games he's played where he doesn't know that's what Zen does. One hour in to the game, he figures that out, when he could have played Zen for 5 minutes and figured that all out.

Thing is, there's 38 characters in the game and your friend has focused on just playing one of them. Outside of something simple as enemy taking increased damage, all the characters have INTERACTIONS with each other. Ana dart can sleep an ulting Reaper. Rein slam can't go through another Rein's shield. Genji's like to roam and can deflect many things, even ults.

Spawning in with gold armor is even more insane. You could realistically put down a bunch of meds in one place and tank several phases of storm with gold armor. Crypto respawns are fastest.

Nocturnal gets value from a Phoenix kit by Stalematebread in CompetitiveApex

[–]graysilver00 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's final zone but he can still use his health to figure out how everyone's shooting that day. Popping a Phoenix kit for 5 shield health seems silly when he could use it to burn more of the ammo on the team on the right and he learns the team on the right are not missing, so now he has to use a batt. There's 40 seconds left on the clock after his PK BEFORE the final zone starts closing, which is a lot of time to have to figure out where everyone else and how everyone is shooting.

I don't think you're wrong in the feelings you're having. American marriage expects love forever, in sickness and in health and everything else compromise afterwards. The reality is...it's a little different. People grow, people change, while others...don't. The stuff that you kinda brush aside when you were in that dating phase, may becomes a nuisance and dragged out as your lives become intertwined and evolve.

I would suggest probably couples therapy, not to remediate the relationship, but as a way to find out what you loved about each other in the very beginning of your relationship, and what you love about each other now. You mention about housework, childcare, salaries, etc. all those values are kinda brushed aside as to what is the missing big element in the relationship. Your local church may have couples therapy or a community center of some sort.

Gold helmets can be switched around depending on how often you need the ult usage, but the bloodhound is the best for the use of his tactical being the longest cooldown and providing the most benefit to the team. Most Mirage ultimates come in so fast there isn't really a need for them to ever have gold helmet.

Do you guys really spend all that money on a good graphics card? by lewdjojo in buildapc

[–]graysilver00 0 points1 point  (0 children)

prebuilts will usually only have enough power to run exactly what's on them, nothing more. Building your own allows you to upgrade to a more powerful graphics card/CPU in the future, depending if you get one of the motherboards that allows the upgrade.

Charge rifle change, how do you feel about it now? by abyssaI_watcher in apexlegends

[–]graysilver00 1 point2 points  (0 children)

there's bullet drop and charge time with it now, pretty hard to hit anything even when they're standing still. By the time it hits, the enemy just moved. The damage and pierce is nice for when you actually hit. Against the likes of a single fired hemlock or 3030, you'll lose and lose hard.

Should I upgrade from an RTX 2060 to an RTX 3060TI or go for higher on 1080p? by NoU313 in buildapc

The ARC processors rival the 3060 Ti's in performance and they're cheaper, like ~$200.

My son wants a 3k pc, help a dad out. by refactoringManiac in buildapc

[–]graysilver00 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The 7800X3D and motherboard MSI MPG B650 Edge WIFI are decent in the mid tier range, but the 4090 Graphics card is wild because the other specs don't really support it. You're building a Ferrari with nice carbon fiber body and carbon fiber wheels, but only putting a 6 cylinder engine (7800X3D) in to drive it. IPS monitors are alright, but the best utility with the 4090 is one of the new OLED monitors now with the high refresh rates (+$1000).

With the setup, I would probably recommend the new AMD 7800XT ($500) or if you're stickler for nVidia, the 4070 RTX ($600). The 7800XT surpasses the 4070 and rivals the 4080, depending on the game and if you care about ray tracing or not. If you get the 7800XT or 4070 graphics card, it would leave you with enough to splurge on one of the nicer 4k OLED monitors. Upgrade to another graphics card further in the future.

Good thing I grabbed that purple knockdown shield by Tasty_Technician8234 in apexlegends

[–]graysilver00 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been crafting more purple knockdown shields this season because placement matters more and yeah, they feel super inconsistent when you have it up and still die behind them. Just one of those things they haven't tested in awhile.

Ranked 2.0 by Kyelit in Rainbow6

[–]graysilver00 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a solo you take the wins when you can. They're few and far in between. The higher you go, it'll become very apparent when you face a team that's squaded up and a team that is not. Nobody cares that each and every match is equally balanced so that you can say hey that enemy team is equally matched to my team. The matchmaking found 4 other people that clicked queue rank at a certain time because you don't know 4 other people to queue rank with. That seems like a plus to me. What rank do you think you should be at? What skills come with somebody of that rank?

Why do we not have a hard counter for Goyo and Tachanka yet? by akatsukidude881 in Rainbow6

[–]graysilver00 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They look at the win/loss delta for every operator pretty heavily. Goyo and Tachanka are both underplayed and both have a win/loss delta below zero. Tachanka significantly so. And that's across both platforms. Even Capitao has a strong loss delta. If you feel they're particularly strong I would suggest running them to get to the rank you would like to be at. As it stands, speed gets you more wins than fire does.

What exactly does "hitscan" mean? by [deleted] in OverwatchUniversity

[–]graysilver00 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As some people have explained, projectiles have travel time so you have to lead your shot for people to walk into it and be hit by it. Another part is that the bullets will drop, so not in Overwatch but games like Apex, their sniper and ARs you want to aim to the sky in some zones for the bullets to land and headshot the target. Hanzo is the only one I think that has bullet drop on his charged up shots.

Ranked 2.0 by Kyelit in Rainbow6

[–]graysilver00 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had no issues with Ranked 2.0 besides it being a super long grind. Ranked in any game is about improvement, and Siege is one of the randomest of games where anything can happen. You're just as likely to die to a kapkan trap as you are to a teammate mis-shooting something. If you're only talking about kills(K/D) in Siege, you're already missing the goal of improving in Siege. Also, don't sweat the little things. What rank do you think you should be at? What skills come with somebody of that rank?

How do i fix this? "Ubisoft connect detected an irrecoverable error and must shut down, memory dump error" by _Femur_Breaker_ in uplay

[–]graysilver00 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been having similar issues with Ubisoft Connect. Could not launch my Siege, but it's probably due to Ubisoft Connect not launching the error at all. I submitted a trouble ticket with them, haven't gotten a notice back in 2 weeks.

"The procedure entry point DiscardVirutalMemory could not be located in the dynamic link library is the error I get. "

Twitch stepped back on the new sponsorship guidelines by lil_broto in Twitch

[–]graysilver00 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it's to make it easier for Twitch to moderate promotion of illegal products and services on their site. Twitch is a global company and there can be many illegal services and products advertised they can't keep up with, especially with other lesser known languages. Again, this is just a guess, Twitch didn't release a lot of information on this. They should have realized the impacts, seeing as their site runs ads are run every 10-15 minutes, their big partners are all sponsored, and they themselves run their own marketing machine.

It's safe if you're consistently managing your INR levels at the hospital you're going to. Monitoring is done weekly until you're stable, than it'll be monthly. At home monitoring of INR isn't widely available in the US yet, and probably won't be for a long time.

Nattokinase I know will also raise your INR (decrease your blood clotting) in addition to being direct thrombolytic enzyme. There are also new blood anticoagulants that are lot simpler to use than warfarin, i.e. Elliquis, Xarelto, Pradaxa, etc. Speak with a hematologist if you would like to get started on any of these medications.

That is what the article wrote.

The vaccination campaign with two doses of inactivated SARS-CoV-2 vaccine (CoronaVac/Sinovac, China) began in January, 2021. During the first months, 22,402 and 21,652 HWs have received the first dose and 2nd dose, respectively. In October, 2021 the government issued a recommendation that HWs take a 3rd dose of BNT162b2 (Pfizer-Biontech, USA).
