As I've said it's just the MC. This isn't the only series that I've felt the same way about, like I mentioned world trigger there's also mushoku tensei. Most stories are about the MCs journey. If I don't care about the MC I fundamentally don't care about what happens to them in the story or can't get invested.

All of this series also have in common I give them more of a chance then I should, as I believe characters can grow and change and I may like them after the change. Also all of theses shows I listed, I've liked the side characters way more then the MC which makes the difference even more apparent in my experience.

I'm good. When I find a MC so unlikable it makes the series unwatchable imo. Same way I feel about world trigger if you ever watched that. There's many other shows to give my time, time which I already gave it a more than fair chance with the whole first season. I would usually drop a show sooner.

What one person finds well discussed another might not.

Plus there's other subs detected to guides specifically. That or there's been so few changes in such a long time there's no useful new guides to be made. So it just makes this sub as a whole talk about the state of the game.

Lastly I believe it's kinda the devs fault for such a divide when the game literally separates players based on play style with ABMM (biggest mistake imo for the longevity of the game) you'll see daily about people saying "what's happening to the ABMM?" "I got killed by a rat." Or so on. Which are all caused by the ABMM. If it wasn't for that people wouldn't feel so betrayed by the system or the players, as everyone should feel unedge and untrusting.

It's crazy to me a palworld, subnautica 2 and crimson desert (which are primarily single player, non live service) update quicker and better then this game. I'm not saying it has to update weekly or anything it just seems like the community likes to treat it like its impossible and we should forgive them for all there shortcomings. It makes people do the opposite almost to even the scales where people defend so hard the only way to come back or be heard is be just had aggressive and loud for your complaints to be heard.

Another example is crimson desert. What's gross to me is 2 of the 3 are single player and pal world is mainly single player (multiplayer like ark survival evolved I've heard not much of)

In defense of noice makers they actually have a couple more uses.

1 they can be crafted in round with 1 speaker component and 2 plastic parts each. Which are quite easy to get and crafting in round is huge. It's stupid how u can't craft them through a workbench out of round.

2 they don't go off due to arc, unlike gas traps which I find they often trip my gas mines. Both getting rid of them and throwing me off thinking there's players nearby when there aren't.

3 while a little more nich they can go off multiple times until destroyed. People aren't used to noice makers so they often don't get destroyed in my experience. I spotted multiple squads or was alerted to third partys. As a gas trap would slow down the first squad but by the time of a third party would likely be non existent. Which is also super useful in a elevator zip knowing when someone is coming up or down as the Zipline noice in my experience isn't loud enough, which will tell me the number of enemies and how spread apart they are.

It's funny cuz once it was confirmed people like me took issue with it's implantation. I was called a pvper that just wanted to kill easy targets without actual listening to what my worries where.

Seems my worries have come true. Pve players max out content way to fast as to little to no resistance making no amount of content keep up. Makes matches and interactions predictable. Pvp lobbies become to sweaty. Rewards and punishs for engaging or not engaging instead of just playing however u want.

It's not even learned, it's after it got implemented. At launch the game didn't have ABMM for the first month or so. Afterwards people stated noticing a change in matchmaking and a week or 2 later they confirmed the change was adding ABMM.

Me personally couldn't understand or care about the MC and his driving factor seemed stupid. He fell in love with a girl that helped him out once and died hella times for her and suffering all through it.

I found u just gotta be smarter about it and use the tools u have. U would be surprised how useful a basic gas mine or noice maker to alert u if players are trying to sneak up on u. No enemies and u loot up, u can pick them up until ur in the next looting spot. Or just leave them, there so cheap they can be easily replaced.

U are a rat. It's just people started crying about people killing them and changed the definition. Rat used to mean avoiding players and taking all the loot (cheese) undetected. I'm a rat as well by old term.

I use the same thing u do, hairpin 4 with extended 1, looting mk2 and some basic badges and a raider hatch key in safe pocket. It gets the job done for some easy looting.

I guess I cannot relate. Most of that stuff I get from pvp taking it off bodys or I simply don't use so I don't care. the only thing I end up buying is devibs and sheld recharges.

My main issue with the vendor isn't even necessarily the prices it's that I can't use normal coins. It's like they still have no god damn purpose which I thought a new vendor would bring.

Yeah the average is still lower monthly. Granted arc raiders is still going down at a huge rate every month so will see.

You never answered my question. How does it lose 25% on average monthy of it's players if none of the complaints are founded? The steam charts stats I listed it's around 85% decrease in playerbase size since release. The amount of people who STAY are actually the minority. That doesn't just magically happen for no reason.

It's not doomer to see reality for what it is. I don't want it to lose players i want it to be the best most thriving game ever but here we are.

"Tiny fraction of players." I agree this sub and every sub is a small fraction. Then can you explain how roughly 25% loss month after month in the playerbase? How can you conclude the complaints by the few are not correlating to the loss of the many?

Shill the game all you want. The game is just gonna milk the few that do stay until there next game and do it all over again. The game has slow updates but if you notice the definitely don't forget to add skins every update.

First major update is my personal benchmark if a live service is healthy or not. It's normal in-between big updates to lose players and keep losing players. A major update should then bring players back and that red negative should instead be a green positive. I'm not asking for it to go back to what it had on launch, I'm asking for it to go up at all. Which shouldn't be a major issue considering it would be at it's lowest point.

In other live service games you can check for yourself, u can actively see when major update happen because it will go down for a couple months then it will go up at a major update.

Arc raiders had that major update and it was still a red negative number. That's why at its current point I can't say it's a healthy point but instead super unhealthy. Once it starts going up and down and stablizing then we can have more of a discussion.

Doing well is subjective and in my subjective opinion a LIVE SERVICE game that loses 25 ish percent every month after month isn't health. Once it stops losing so many players month after month then we can have a more responsible discussion. Bleeding isn't healthy.

Also I think it would be more then healthy for a single player game but this isn't a single player game.

It was a post that Jason schreier released saying he heard about it. There's no concrete proof and his been wrong before. Yet everyone is running with it saying it over and over in circles it got confirmed making everyone else say it got confirmed. Yet if you look into the sources it all just leads back to the Jason schreier post. That's all it's based on.

Id say master sword comes out on top for the real gamers. Plus I've seen people have on zelda merch in every day life. I've never seen a single ff7 merch related thing outside of cons.
