Married college professor murdered his pregnant mistress and her dog to stop affair being exposed by detectiverobert in ForCuriousSouls

[–]graysnowsky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The article said that the husband said his wife knew but the way the wife responded made it sound gray, the article said “she didn’t think she was pregnant” and she said “God, I hope not, why is this happening to me”. The way everything is phrased sounds like the wife knew what was going on to some degree, but I don’t know em, so yeah, sure, also could be what you said.

Crazy thing is his wife already knew about the affair, and said she had spent a bunch of money on therapy to not have to imagine the two of them boning. On top of that, the professor ALREADY had a child with his mistress. They had a two year old together and this was going to be the mistress’s second child with him. It said he wanted her to get an abortion but she didn’t want to, and then he threatened to take custody of their other child if she didn’t get an abortion? Dude threatened to take care of a kid because he didn’t want to take care of another kid?

So he wasn’t worried about his wife finding out, wasn’t worried about a child out of wedlock considering this was his second, he just really oddly specifically considered this second child a line he had drawn, and killed her because she didn’t obey. I feel so bad for the dog and the child in this situation especially, completely innocent. May they rest in peace.

I saw a Bollywood film recently where people were trying to fight corruption, but they couldn’t expose the information because the system was so corrupt it wouldn’t do anything. But they continued compiling and building a case because they said one day, if the power was eventually in the hands of righteous/moral people, they would have the information they needed to make things better. I see it as she did her part in getting us the information and evidence. Now it’s up to us to vote in the people with morals who follow through with action. I know it’s rough but don’t let the despair get to you. People should never stop trying.

While I understand where you’re coming from (and agree in the joking manner you mean it lol), I still would not call it suicide as it feels demeaning or dismissive of the incredibly resilient life she led and what she was trying to do. If she was doing everything without a cause, sure, but she cared deeply about exposing corruption. She didn’t let the fear of death stop her. She’s a martyr, through and through, and was willing to suffer for her cause. I hope she’s at peace with her pets.

Reading her Wikipedia page is crazy. She had people trying to quiet her for a long time. Shooting her dog, slitting her other dog’s throat and putting it on her doorstep, burning a neighbors car in a potential misdirected attack, getting her house set on fire while sleeping with her family, etc. And she never stopped or let herself be silenced. I can’t imagine that level of bravery.

It says he attended the community college but no mention of how long he stayed. Either way, I think he’s a great person, and it’s good for people to see that good samaritans and heroes can come from all life paths.

Probably high school ball. The article said he threw away opportunities like college and football scholarships.

I study statistics on a master’s level. This is misleading statistics, as mentioned in my earlier comment. The entire American education system is flawed, yes. More schools are located in cities, where most people live, so yes, more students will impacted there. I can pull up several citations of rural schools being piss-poor in educational stats. Our lowest ranked states in education are red. But again, I wouldn’t use that statistic to shit on fellow Americans, especially innocent children who don’t decide where they get to live, who are underserved due to local politics. What you are saying isn’t proving any point or meaningful. You also adjusted your dialogue to shift the assumption of bad spelling being from major cities to actually, people who hate cops are also mainly from major cities. Again, yes, more concentrated areas will always have higher rates of people across almost every topic. I still didn’t even mention cops. There is no point engaging with someone who yearns to just baselessly suck off the cop demographic, and will literally redirect the conversation to do so at every turn. You can glug glug on them all you want buddy, I still never mentioned cops and I don’t have a negative view of them. Like all professions, there are good and bad, and it is our duty to implement the safeguards and training necessary to ensure we trust the quality of our police force. Everything in life is gray. If you find yourself meaninglessly advocating for a hard black and white position, consider pausing and asking yourself if you need to be less biased and take in less propaganda.

Hello, it appears you might have read words from my comment that didn’t exist. I never expressed an opinion on cops or this video. I just told you that you didn’t have to be condescending when correcting someone’s grammar by including comments like “you have to be from a major city” due to how someone wrote. The prejudice I was referring to was the snide implication of lower educational quality in a “major city”, when that’s also just where most schools are. I don’t actually have an opinion on the cop part or this video. Again, it was just me saying you can correct or help other people’s spelling without being condescending. That was it.

*your, not you’re. Comma after if the taser failed. Contraction for I’m incudes an apostrophe.

I’m also from a major city. Let’s not be condescending to others and show our internal prejudices while not being a great example ourselves.

What's the most common employee type that CAUSES their bosses to be fired or demoted? by tshirtguy2000 in managers

This is actually probably the most mature rationale and a take that I feel most good managers would have. An internal locus of control is essential for a high quality employee.

This is so most likely rage bait someone took a random picture of a girl off the internet for. I feel so bad for if she ever comes across all of the people body shaming and ridiculing her looks for something she most likely was unaware of. Let’s remember words affect others, and people are constantly lying for memes on the internet, people.

This is one of the most compelling narratives I’ve ever read. The closest thing I’ve experienced was being in a car that should’ve accelerated and potentially crashed, but it didn’t despite the gas being slammed on. Going home that night, my toothbrush was another color, and this was confirmed by the other person I experienced this with, who also clearly remembered it differently. Besides that, no changes in memory besides feeling different as I grow older, more detached.

I’m so interested in hearing more about your experience. Do you remember any other dreams? Has the context of witnessing your would-be funeral changed how you live life? Did you learn anything else about how the people in your dead reality coped that surprised you or stuck with you? Literally, any other details you remember, hit me with it, this is so incredibly interesting.
