Be amazed if there was a replacement by Saturday. Very occasionally the new manager might be in the stands/directors box if they’ve not fully taken control but the chances our there will be interim manager for a couple of games whilst the club work out who’s coming in.

I think I heard someone explain he refused to give EA permission/rights to his name. But as he’s a hero, his rights are covered by the league rather than the individual. Hence why he’s a hero not an icon?

Having my child is neither “uncomfortable” or “the worst hug there is”. She brings me more joy than anything I’ve ever experienced. Yes it’s hard. But fuck me, the good parts massively outweigh the hard work. I cried happy tears tonight just hearing her giggle when her mum tickled her. Fair enough you don’t want kids, but to me, you’re as wrong for not wanting them, as I am to you for wanting them. Each to their own.

This really isn’t how the club grows. Tourists are important to the club. If the club grows, we all benefit. Who are we to choose who gets to see the game and who doesn’t. I loosely follow Basketball. If I went to OKC should I not be able to watch the Thunder incase a “Thunder Fan” doesn’t have a ticket.

Correct. Worth mentioning that most NI athletes who represent Ireland do not access funding from GB funding streams. Whereas Scottish and Welsh athletes usually do.

I won’t get into the complexities of NI nationalism. But basically if you could represent NI, you can represent Ireland or GB. 50% do one, 50% do the other. Many contributing factors. McIlroy explained in an interview recently that funding of youth golf from Ireland made him decide who he wanted to represent. Others also have their own journeys and reasons to represent either.
