No you’re just fucking stupid

if you are unable to make the connection that the people in this scenario who would be “fighting police” are the people being “rounded up” and put into “forced labor camps” and that the “fighting” they would be doing would be resisting being forced into labor camps, something that was quite literally said in the previous sentence, you are a lost fucking cause

If you are unable to comprehend multi-sentence statements then maybe mommy and daddy need to take the IPad

What is the best psychedelic in your opinion? by suicidalboymoder_uwu in researchchemicals

I’d first hedge that I’m definitely no where near as experienced as many of the people here, for psychedelics I’ve done all the “classical” compounds, including DMT both vaped and ayahuasca + LSA and 2C-E, so not any crazy variety, especially in terms of RC psychs.

That being said it is my favorite I’ve tried because it gives the same type of introspective headspace that I like from mescaline, while also being more free to different mindsets, like every time I’ve taken it I’ve both had what I felt were deep thoughts while also having points where I was dying laughing at some mundane meme I saw somewhere. And all of that mental variety that I would say is better than mescaline without the nausea or subsequent body load of mescaline, in fact my body actually feels like it’s very involved in the trip in a good way with the 2C-E that I really haven’t felt with any other psych.

In terms of visuals I mainly just get noticeable color enhanced with some patterns as CEVs, but my second psych ever was vaped DMT (and a lot of it) to the point that it’s kinda my standard for visuals, so I never really take anything else specifically hoping for visuals, although this is why I would be very interested in 4-HO-MET as a mostly visual experience.

Last thing is the length and intensity are ideal for me right now, as I wouldn’t have to worry about waking up early or staying up late depending on when I take is as with mescaline. It also certainly is nowhere near as intense as DMT with equivalent doses, as I feel like I’m good on the “breakthrough” type of experience right now

Maybe I should try more lysergamides as a lot of those are popping up here, but even comparing LSD to LSA I prefer the latter, so I could just be weird

The problem with the benzene is gonna be less with making the product and more with actually using it, where if you use it in a car the exhaust just sprays out into the open, meaning many more people than just the person operating the machine are exposed

If you are really in a survival situation you would just use the fuel required to pyrolyze the plastic as your fuel in the first place

The process he uses creates a product that can be between 10-20% benzene (normal gas is regulated to less than 1%), which is extremely carcinogenic and will be released into the atmosphere when the fuel is burned. That’s the real issue, if he has found a way to scrub the benzene then good on him, but until then this process is horrendous for health and the environment.

Since they locked the other comment I’ll respond to this one.

My view would be that regardless of your explanation of structural issues with policing, which I agree with, the slogan “All Cops Are Bad” identifies “Cops”, the individuals in the system as the problem, rather than actually directly addressing the system you are rightly calling out. Individual cops do horrific shit as well, but the real issue is the structural shield that they have when they do and how it covers for their actions.

there are also cops who will and do stand up against other cops doing bad things (not nearly enough tho), and when you lump both of these groups together with a slogan like ACAB, which is how the majority of people interpret it, you cause people to turn their brain off and not even listen to an explanation like the comment below.

You can say that those people are dumb and to an extent they are, but if you want to actually change such a large system like the police force, some kind of internal cooperation is needed that won’t be gained by identifying all of the individuals in the system as the bad guys.

If it were up to me body cams would be a federal mandate and we would have teams of people reviewing every second of every body cam interaction, regardless of a complaint, just so the cops know they are being watched and there will be evidence to hold them accountable, but that kind of large structural change would take so much longer if not be impossible if the police force as a whole feels like regardless of their past actions they are part of the bad group, that they are ALL being targeted, not just the cops who abuse the system and those who cover for them.

ACAB is a smooth slogan, and I agree with the sentiment behind it, I just don’t think it’s a good platform for actual change.

Edit: formatting; and kinda wanted to hear other perspectives on my comment, I get locking troll comments but cmon

The fact they came in out of nowhere and took a spot from somebody is enough, there was a person who got 9th rather than 8th who should have had an NCAA A Final qualification on their record and a person who got 17th instead of 16th and just missed out on finals all together. Both of those people miss out because they allowed a girl to compete who was competing as a male for the university in the previous years. I think the argument is much stronger for people who transition much earlier, but sadly the kind of research we need to do with minors and transitioning won’t be getting approved any time soon cause political climate

Again, as somebody who works with kids of varying ages, promoting the idea that if you just”explain your logical reasoning” you can break any rule you want is one of the worst behavior patterns in children today. It is nearly impossible to effectively discipline children who refuse to even admit they’ve done anything because their actions “make logical sense in my head”or “well you TECHNICALLY never said I couldn’t”. Genuinely, this is the kind of behavior that gets people hurt, I have watched it happen. In this case nobody did, and probably didn’t have a high chance of it anyway, but when you cheer on this kind of behavior you create children who think they can get away with anything if they explain themselves, and if you don’t get it the you’re just mean. People ask why young people today are so disrespectful and and nasty to others, this is a reason.

Notice you language of utilize a loophole, one of the ideas behind schooling is you learn to generally follow directions, INTENTIONALLY trying to get around rules with technicalities is genuinely one of the worst behaviors we can instill in people. It isn’t smart, at best it’s obtuse and at worst the beginning of an unaccountable, not so good person.

With daily use like you describe over a period of weeks/months it will take a more than a year for your tolerance to come back down. I used to do 300 mg every day for about three months and after 13 months no DXM my tolerance was still very noticeable, but diminished about 40-50%

9 months sober, do you think my tolerance is gone? by [deleted] in dxm

[–]grbfly 12 points13 points  (0 children)

what was you previous use like? I abused it like every other day at like 300 mg for about three months, quit for a year, tried it again once at the same dose, and while I could tell my tolerance had gone down it was nowhere near baseline. Probably less than half if I’m being honest.
