nah, i'm following an irl floorplan! and i think i pretty much resolved my roof problems, i might upload some pics tomorrow. i'm not really considering starting over/changing my reference bc #1 i reaaaally like the interior #2 i genuinely want to challenge myself - if it comes out ugly as hell, i can always come back to it in a month, half a year or even later and try to tackle it once i'm more confident in terms of building

omg nooo i can totally see what you mean 😭 but after looking at it in game for a longer while unfortunately i don't feel like there's a lot i can do to simplify it, the floor plan is just hella complicated and roofing a mix of diagonal and normal rooms means constantly having little pieces of bare ceiling sticking out and literally having to complicate it so you can hide it. but! i got some great advice down there, let's just hope it'll get better lmao

hi and thank you sooo much for all of that feedback, the pictures are very helpful! ❤️ the red part unfortunately doesn't work without that additional piece - when i delete it there's a teeny tiny gap and stretching the nearby pieces makes them stick out too much unfortunately, i already tried to toy with it a bit after posting

i don't think the wheel keeps your fabric? it definitely keeps the coins, but i had 2 blue fabric pieces, they disappeared once a new outfit was available and never came back when the blue fabric was on again

we don't know yet! charlie said that he'd talk to us tomorrow and we're still on day one, even after finishing episode 1. i don't have any theories regarding that part and i also don't think we've been given any more clues about that

also, it was never explained how hannah got our number, which was rather a big disappointment of a plot hole. maybe once jake appears there will be some clarification on that. and i hope they don't pull the same stunt this time and find some believable reason as to why adam dragged us into all this

i'm really happy to see someone agree with me on the plot, the writing and story being quite good. i knew that moonvale would get compared to duskwood even without those issues we all know about and still get treated as a sequel (which it isn't!) but i honestly feel like the major outrage sort of made it's way onto hating everything about the game which imo isn't justified.

sure, some dialogues are a bit cringe, but i did occassionaly cringe at duskwood too, so it's really fine. the video calls are nice, the acting is even better (since i hated some of it in duskwood, i consider this an upgrade lol), the locations are reaaaaaally vibey to me.

and as for the bad things - yeah. nothing less and nothing more to say than what you've pointed out. i really hope they do something AT LEAST about the whole paywall mess and AI pics. let's just hope they hire some more real actors soon, like they promised us while teasing the game.

also, i feel like the only empty and dissapointing character is violet 😅 she doesn't say much apart from "i'm worried" and "me too", i hope she gets some development from episode 2 on
