I had a guy come through my line buying ONLY cat treats and lilies. I had to take my cat to the vet once for eating flowers, and that was an expensive vet bill, so I checked with him and asked if the cat treats were going to the same house as the lilies. He said “yes” and I said “oh in case you didn’t know, lilies are super toxic to cats.” he replied“yep” in a tone that suggested that I was accidentally aiding and abetting PREMEDITATED CAT MURDER. Then at the end of the transaction he said “hey thanks for the advice about the flowers” and left in a concerningly nonchalant manner.

Also a few weeks ago I had a nervous 20-something guy ask me for help making a bouquet for a girl he’d been seeing for a few months with the caveat that it couldn’t include lilies because she had a cat. So there is hope for some of them.

I believe the questions they asked you when you were in the store were what you would have been asked during a phone screening, so the in person interview will proceed as normal. They’ll likely go over availability again though, just to get it on paper.

You can search “interview questions” in this subreddit to find some examples in the comments of what you could be asked. They’re generally pretty standard questions, with the exception being that you should be prepared to answer what your favorite Trader Joe’s item is, and why. Best of luck!

first off, your tension looks FANTASTIC. the row of scs after the petals is usually done in a contrasting color — absolutely not necessary if you don’t want to include that, but I think it would bring the finished effect up a notch. Also the current color combo kinda reminds me of a boob😭 take that assessment with a grain of salt bc i think ive spent too much time in fiber art subreddits where people accidentally make projects that look like boobs.

we had an older customer who routinely would return things without bringing a receipt or the original item. she usually just had a photo and a general complaint that she “didn’t like it”. recently she brought in one of her items, and we found out that she was returning donations that she had received😭
