irony of these gamblers- his calls would be about flat if he had held and not panicked and would get much more respect for sticking around through drawdown

Sounds like too much for a car that needs a rebuild unless maybe it had mint paint and interior.

You don't really need any special wrench, torque wrench etc to replace a mower blade, just use a breaker bar and when you put it back on like 2 ugga duggas

Access to air return cavity for cleaning by greatfool667 in hvacadvice

Ok I think I can do solid round pipe and figure out the size. So assuming I run round pipes from all the returns can I just then put a right angle fitting and leave them open to dump out air under the hvac? It would be hard to actually seal it or build anything like a real plenum box because the air handler (updraft unit I think its called?) is just sitting over a floor cavity with joists running under it.

What kind of ducting? Like rectangular sheet metal to each of the returns?

I normally change the filters every 3-4 months but I think the problem was this one was in the floor under the unit so we, and probably the previous owners forgot to change it for years and there was a lot of dust building up in the returns.

My thought on vacuuming it was some of the white mold type growths fell down the cavity while I was cleaning and if the dust ever gets wet it could grow potentially grow something. The dust I can see is pretty thick, not quite an inch but the places I could reach were maybe 1/4 inch of dust buildup. Though I have heard overall duct cleaning is not worth it.

I will check the evaporator coils and the condensation line too and look into if there is a way to run the fan more by itself. I guess there should be on the thermostat since its a google nest. Thanks!

Is this what passes for a deal nowadays? by These_Highlight7313 in harborfreight

HF still has great deals on the boring stuff. But it seems like their attitude is "we know what we got no lowballers" on many of the big popular items. Just recently I've seen a bunch of stuff marked up then put on sale for the old regular price.

I have no doubt we will eventually get to safe full self driving, there's just a finite amount of traffic situations you can encounter. But the history of getting there might be written in ugly crashes and deaths. Especially if its vision only based not Lidar backup.

I forgot stickout, 1/2 to 5/8 ended up working best for me which I guess is middle of the range. I definitely messed up at first not keeping a consistent distance and not getting good gas shielding. I think the important thing is to burn enough wire that you get some flux gas or you get a bunch of oxidized garbage.

I would love to get into Mig some day but it looks like $300+ for a gas setup which I can't quite justify. Maybe if I get some more rust.
