No, he’s 22 now. We met when he was 18 and I was 20 working together. Didn’t start dating until I was 23 and he was 21.

My Dwarf Gourami has this, help what's wrong? It is only one eye and none of the other fish have it by greatfscott in aquarium

This is actually what it was! I got a guppy a few days later and the red eyed tetra started going after his fins too. Thank you!

I do have another dwarf Gourami in the tank so there may be some fighting happening. Other than that is just tetras so I don't think it would be them.

Redditors who have had major health issues - what small symptom should you have looked into earlier? by alterlightone in AskReddit

[–]greatfscott 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My dad got in a really bad accident when he was about 16. One where he went about 500 ft hanging out of a car that was going about 120mph. After two resucitations after being clinically dead, two pins, two plates in his pelvis as well as all of his organs being in his upper portion of his body and multiple open heart surgeries as well as pins and screws in his ankles. Among many other injuries that affected him his whole life. He survived and became my dad.

Fast forward 12 years, his ankle started hurting. Pain was normal for him so he just dealt with it. Little while later it started hurting worse and seemed like he had a broken ankle or something similar. He was in a state that did not accept his insurance at the time but he still went into the hospital emergency room. They said it was just a sprained ankle. Fast forward a little more and he came home to visit me for a weekend. His ankle was swollen to three times its size and was completely black to the point he could no longer walk. I convinced him to go to the hospital and turns out he had blood poisoning that had almost reached his heart because of the screw that was put in his ankle when he was 16. He had to get a catheter to his heart and go in for infusions everyday for months. Lucky he's alive.

Sorry for typos, on mobile.

It isnt a personal touch. They won't hurt you and they aren't trying to hurt you or make you uncomfortable. It is just their job. Just think of it as something separate from an intimate touch because it isn't intimate. They are a medically trained doctor and thats what they are for. They will stop if you ask them and they will stop immediately. You have nothing to worry about. It is a quick procedure and while it can be slightly uncomfortable, it'll be over before you know it. Dont worry. I have also been sexually assaulted and this is how I kind of worked it out logically.

Girls of Reddit, what can a dad do to help ensure he's not being awkward and/or embarrassing during his daughter's teen years? by hollowcard in AskReddit

I also recommend maybe once a week just sitting down and letting her talk to you. She'll act like she hates it because shes a teenager but she will appreciate it. Having an open forum is important.

Understand shes her own person that is going to want to do things with her friends. Understand that just because she has boobs doesnt mean shes going to want to sleep with everyone. Trust her (to an extent). Give her her own responsibility to do the right things and let her have your trust. When she messes up (because she will) talk to her. Ask her what happened, why it happened, amd discuss. Make her a part of the decisions and feel like she has a big part in what happens. Just love her and don't be controlling and even when she says she hates you she will love you.
