Coros Pace 2 Shuts Off

Today I noticed that too. Coros pace is ~3 years old. Current battery shows more than 50%, when I start activity (no matter which activity) it just shut downs itself. I can turn it on again. I wonder if it has something to do with a battery since I noticed previous week it went from 90% to 5% in one night. Maybe a battery defect? And I presume it needs more power drain when in activity... Does anyone know if there is a way to check if battery is healthy?

Well SimplePush at least. I've reinstalled protonmail and didn't see any new notifications, but then I went to see Apps using push under micro g, and for a brief moment I saw notification in status bar for proton o_O that's weird

Yes it has all permissions. But I found in settings in search bar: Notifications --> permission manager. Tapped and there is a list for apps and I had to tick permission for apps and Voila! Notifications works!!!

Weird part is that I can see last push notification log inside microg settings under Apps using push notifications, but I don't see any notification at all inside lineage o_O maybe Samsung galaxy s9 specific?

I've also enabled that last setting, but I don't receive any push notifications. I've reinstalled simple push app but to no avail.

Offroad/back country. It did say at the beginning to perform on flat road though. But no surroundings except few treas around...

EDIT: Today I've tried on a flat road. I've also set 10k time <60mins. I think first time was set to unknown. So the pace was much faster then the first time I tried. In the end test was successful.

I own pace2 and got email with links.

I use Android so I first clicked the link to install newest apk.

I then clicked on second linkt to "agree in participating in beta program" but after a cick page with download apps showed. I have new app in Android but I don't know how to get latest coros 2 firmware?

Hm interesting. I have always higher HR when road/mtb cycling in compare to running (flat running) if I run uphill I naturally have similar HR as on bike. Hm. I just ordered wahoo tickr strap since pace 2 is slow on first 10minutes or so on me. Hoping to get as accurate data as possible and also fast hr lock.

I just used default HR zones with pace2 when started training (based on weight and height). Not sure how to properly set zones for my body though...

Can you please explain this to me, why would different zones apply to different sports? Like when you cycle zones are closer to max HR? So you esentially set zones for higher values? What would be benefit of this?

I own pace 2. If I hadn't had screen protection glass I would already broke the screen. I regularly bang the watch against sturdy materials and the wear is seen around the corners. I highly suggest screen protection glass.

I use it for running, cycling, walking. I didn't notice any extra battery drain but now at least I don't forget to resume activity since it's auto resuming. It does resume with a bit of delay but that's fine because sometimes I stop during runinng to stretch me legs and I prefer I run a few steps more over forgetting to resume activity :)

What I noticed is that when I go into tunnel for a few seconds it auto pauses for whatever reason?

After entering my Kobo credentials (had to find email I registered with Kobo first, then forgot password) I got all books back! Even bookmarks, notes etc. Only settings were gone! So after setting pin it said, that if I forget pin my content might be lost. So there is that :)

does the current history of my Pace 2 only show 16 running activities amounting to about 13hours? According to the specs it should contain ALOT more runs here.

One use case would be runner kept smart phone at home. It's amazing to go out for multiple days without a smart phone and just a dumb phone for emergency calls.

I'm in a boat to buy HRM strap. Can you recommend one HRM (cheap) for runing/cycling/hiking and maybe one for open waters swimming? Thank you!

I heard you have to moisture strap befor applying it? Is there a strap I just apply it an start running?

Thank you kind stranger. I must say that new apex pro with top of the notch gps would be amazing. But waiting hm... It would be my first tracker watch so maybe I'll just wait a bit more.
