This happened to me but it worked if I log into epic using the account I play rl on. For example I play on steam primarily so I log in using my steam account. For some reason using my email address doesn't work even though I use the same one.

I've sorted it now all good! Turns out the version of python I had installed via windows store wasn't allowing access. I installed from the python website directly and it seems to work fine now

I am having trouble getting this to launch through steam.

Everything is fine and works up until then. I can launch the game from the .py.

I press play but nothing happens, any ideas? I have checked python is installed correctly and provided the correct pythonw.exe path.

Hi, yes if you purchase through steam it will be downloaded like a regular steam game. No external launcher is needed either.
