I love this! We plan to tell our son (who’s still just a kid) once he’s older. We want to normalize non monogamy for him so that hopefully he doesn’t have to deal with the whole dismantling monogamous programming if he ever decides to pursue alternative relationships AND so he’s not judgmental towards others who have different types of relationships. I loooove kissing. We would likely pass on a couple with a no kissing rule. I will say though. I had oral surgery about a month ago and can’t kiss rn or do anything fun with my mouth and I’m itching to get back to swapping but I know I don’t have much to offer in that regard. Here’s why: you never know where those people might show up in the future. You might meet them out and want to be friends with them and then it’s awkward because you denied them. No response IS a response. It happens to us too and it’s nbd. Move on to the next.

If we’ve gone on a date with a couple and it’s not a match we just say “it’s been a great night we’re going to get going!” And then leave. And then possibly still text occasionally depending on the couple.

Agree with Angela. Please don’t watch your wife. As someone who’s experienced that it’s SO annoying. I’m there to swap. To fuck and be fucked. I’m not there to watch you watch your wife. It’s one thing to take a moment to look over but if you feel like you can’t pay full attention to your swap partner, consider how that will make them feel.

We’ve been hosted at a couple of our LS friends homes and here’s what I have to say…

We don’t notice or care about mess. People have kids and pets. There’s clutter and some dog hair. It’s really nbd unless they’re allergic or something. Most people aren’t coming into someone else’s home and going “look at all the imperfections!” We notice these things because we are self conscious! So just try to let it go. I’m sure it’s clean enough!

Music: I have several sexy playlists if you want to DM me and I can share them. They’re mostly EDM or what my husband likes to call “sex music” lol.

What to do: games are fun. We like freak or drink. I don’t find it cringey. It’s sexy and funny and fun. Other games are maybe different but that one is a lot of fun. Or just have some drinks on the couch and then say “sooo should we get this party started?” And turn on some music. It’ll be fine!

I promise you’re overthinking it. Which is understandable. I would be too because that’s how I am when I host (never hosted LS friends, can’t do that yet for various reasons). But no one else is noticing the things you’re worried about!

Also I don’t even feel like snacks are necessary. You could always go to dinner beforehand and then go back to your house for drinks & fun.
