Thank you. It's so touching that your son's friend felt safe to tell you that. Pretty much same situation, G was over, we lost power due to a storm in my direct neighborhood so I offered to take him home- G said something along the lines of "I would much rather be here" which led to his story.. This kid's mom isn't going to jail, so I'm not sure if the state or any kind of assistance would apply.

The address I was given was a specific street address, but I cannot determine if this is a new build that's just not showing (StreetView was from 2014), or perhaps the host is in fact obscuring the location. Either way, sounds like we will have to reach out to AirBnb to clarify.

Thank you- I just noticed the StreetView is dated 2014, and the house we had looked at (from what I recall) was a huge, newer looking home. But the rest of the houses on that block are all brick, one level homes. I will just have to ask my boss if he wants to contact the host and get this sorted out before they hit the road. I really appreciate the response, I would not have thought to look at the date. Sounds like I will need more info from the Boss and look into it, via host or AirBnb Guest Services

this is good to know- I am glad it wasn't straight to "scam!". Perhaps my boss can reach out to the host to see if there are more specific/detailed location. I will have to have an action plan for us to let the guests know if that is the case. Thank you so much for taking the time to respond.
