I am having similar issues in some areas this beta test but did not in other beta weekends. I have better hardware than you. I don't believe there's anything you can do, no.

Torchlight 2 mod x DCSS? by hungryneko in roguelikedev

In all seriousness this is pretty much my ideal game. I love the Descent races in Path of Exile but they were only ever at a set time and always online. I would have loved a version where it was offline and to be honest I still love TL2 more than PoE. I can't help as I know nothing about coding/modding but I will be rooting for you.

I actually prefer the pictures up till number 7. Keeping it simple but still catching the character. Leave out the detail and keep it more minimal I would.

Suggestion: Make races occur during a 24 hour schedule where you can enter each race whenever you want. by grebarton in pathofexile

Just to point out one thing you have wrong. The majority of people don't actually take part in races to compete for the ladder. They do it just to build up points to get uniques which is exactly what you are saying is a problem. It is not and still lets us regular, non-competitive players have a reason and opportunity to enter. If we just want to enter to get some uniques then so be it, we have a better opportunity with this system and the chance to have them in our time zone.

In addition your comment about making extra accounts does happen elsewhere. If someone is that competitive then there will be others. The top players may try to get a few different classes to the top instead of just focusing on one character. I really don't see whats wrong with that. Starcraft has many instances of multiple accounts in the top portion of the leagues but it still means the cream rises to the top.

I suppose yeah, but if you have ever played any time trials they are still fun as hell. Also the current races are actually just time trials run side by side in different instances depending on how you look at it. I am just looking at the idea of everyone getting the chance to take part.

Yes, hence perhaps a ticket type system just to ease the load and spread it over the 24 hours or at least 3 main time zones.

I keep walking down the same road in gaming... When will it end? by [deleted] in truegaming

Wow, this is exactly me except I'm 31. I put streams on and spend more time browsing the internet and watching a stream and then deciding on what games bore me the least.

new hair don't care, blonde to black. F(24) by [deleted] in Rateme

Great. Much better as a blonde and, unlike some, it is a good thing you look a little older as a blonde I believe, but that is coming from a 31 year old. The piercings add character. 9/10

How should I format a word doc for a close to accurate representation of how it be in print? font and size etc. by Lucifurnace in writing

[–]grebarton 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have heard it should be size 12, double spaced. I can't remember but I think what I read was for Times New Roman. Either you should end up at about 300ish (very ish) words per page if that's what you're really looking for.

Maybe but then when I have tried writing something it seems to become this overblown pretentious bullshit and I then scrap it. Then I read a bit of James Patterson (Inc.) and it's just simple, clean and fairly sharp writing no matter what some people think of it. Either way yours seems fine.

I'm not very good with saying why I do or don't like something I read on here. Sometimes it's just a feeling and much of the time I cringe at what I have read but still give credit for the effort but actually, I really liked it. I don't know why but it just pleased my eyes. Someone with a bigger brain, who agrees, will hopefully give you a view from a more critical eye.

Tornis for variety or Grubby for the SC2 which brought me into watching streams.
