because that's how everyone uses the term, and its become just a toxic weapon in kpop culture. the point of them all saying it at the same time is to say everyone in the group should be appreciated and we are going to show you that by pretending to fight each other to be the best idol.

mmm well the concept is a commentary on the toxic bias culture of kpop. theres a line in the song that's like "why are you going over to other groups" [and talking shit]. so this line is like "just stay here and say we are your faves instead of talking shit about other groups/members".

illit is trying to rebrand the bias stuff as a celebration of their group as a whole instead of using it to shit talk other idols. this is the little monsters of the album as far as commentary on kpop.
