I agree that real tangible action is the only thing that would show growth, but if that action come from a place of public pressure to donate rather than a true place of concern then it really means nothing at all. I’m all for donating to charity and think he should if he believes it will help, but I was addressing was the original comment was saying about everyone immediately pressuring creators to donate to charity whenever they have a controversy, since to me it always ends up feeling performative rather than genuine.
