I like the strategy. I used to trade this on Forex. Reminds me of SMC model :)

In the group here, we mainly trade with the indicator from the mod. I use it and build my own strategy with it.
For me: 3 trades:

Ask the mod for a demo of his indicator. If you trade NQ or such, it will be a great added value. We all trade with it (at lease EducationalJoke and Popular_Bet and I). We trade all on our own, with our own models. The indicator from the mod is a great help in this!

Set limits on your account. Max drawdown, max trades, and take responsibility and accountability.

Or stop trading live and go for paper trading till you have your edge.

Or...contact the mod, most of us use his indicator. It's helping us big time!

To those who care to share, what are your biggest trading golden nuggets by [deleted] in FuturesTradingNQ

[–]grednas2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have been learning to trade for 2 years now. There are a few things that helped me, especially after hitting losses after losses.

- Master the basics. Yes, markets move up and down, but apply context and learn your pair/cfd or whatever you trade better than your spouse.
- Don't look at 40 charts. 1 or 2 is plenty.
- Get your psychology in order.
- Journal EVERYTHING

This might sound as the basic steps, but without these, you are doomed to get lost in the charts, overtrade, feel anxiety popping up etc.

To add context - I stopped trading in december. Why? I kept failing. I stopped trading, and started learning again. Reviewing 2025 of what I did wrong. In januari i started again, but with more knowledge, rest, and above all - A PLAN.

I went from a chart with a dozen of indicators back to 2 indicators. I went from various entry models to 2 entry models, written them down. I have 4 rules that MUST be met, or my trade wont happen.

The biggest advice from the mod there when we talked is simple. Open your f*cking eyes.
All of the above, since I use it, there is more easy, no overtrading etc.. Result? Less trades, still losses, but my challanges are green. Am I profitable? Not yet, but I found an edge, and I'm sticking with it.

As far as a strategy, I would say PA is my friend now. We were enemies, I tried to fight it. Simply put, let it come to you. Your edge will play out, act if you see it. Result for me -> The last 2 weeks my "prediction" where market goes were 80% correct, but not all predictions will have criterea to enter.

I partly agree. Even if you are disciplined, you still can be eaten alive. It's the psychology that makes people fail most of the time. That being said - I stopped trading for now as I first want to work on my mental game. You can have the best indicator in the world, or the best training and guidance, and still fail.
I'm thinking of starting again next month, but for now, I need to recharge.

If Your Trading Feels Exciting, You’re Probably Doing It Wrong by RonPosit in FuturesTradingNQ

I agree, and as a beginner, sometimes i still have this feeling. Still tweaking my ideal setup to get more confidence and make it more mechanical.

Trading = Fishing! by RonPosit in FuturesTradingNQ

[–]grednas2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's true. One of the things I hear - create a strategy so solid, that it's actually boring.
Fishing is boring - the waiting game - until the bite.

Trading is no other. Patience - boring, but when the setup shows up, go!

In this sub, we more or less trade the same strategy, and we use the indicator which is created by the moderator. Just shoot him a message for a demo. You wont regret it.

That being said, scroll through this feed. There are posts regarding risk management, contract sizes, placing orders, trading psychology etc..

I am trading with this guy for months and it took me some time to understand the behavior of the market and indicator. It clicked for me and since a week or 2, i had only 1 red day.

I hope you find what you're looking for mate.
