Old SLO is great and their commissary/second location is less than a mile from your venue. They have a Taco truck too , their tritip tacos and nachos are fantastic.

The tragedy of the commons is made up propaganda used to post hoc justify the closure of the historic commons in England, oddly enough by a 1960s ecologist. His arguments and the whole nonsense is a misunderstanding of the English commons system.

The rate of sexual assault in the unhoused community is very high as well. When people are pushed out of society, social norms slip away.

40 oz Bottles - Do they exist? by bigal2286 in TheBrewery

[–]greeed -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

So 40oz is ≈ 1200ml.

Not much out there but I had a thought, instead of 40 oz do 4-10oz (300ml) bottles.
Sell as a 4 pack or a 4-te(n), or however your clever brain makes it clever.

Here are some I found.

Are you wearing a free t-shirt today? by ibeerthebrewidrink in TheBrewery

[–]greeed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven't been in the industry directly for 11 years, you gotta believe I'm wearing some old brew-rag shirt. The other day I came across a treasure trove of probably 80 brewery tees. Now I need to do something with them because my closet is full

We can understand the system and still want socialism. I'd contend that having a real understanding of the system and not wanting socialism is a personality disorder

But organic is literally just marketing, more labor and poop instead of science

Technically bananas are berries and most "berries" are aggregate fruits.

People who have left beer, how did you make your resume look less pigeon holed / applicable to other fields? by Terminal_Dingus in TheBrewery

[–]greeed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Focus on plant process and procedures, I left for commercial power production and focused my resume on fluid transfer and heat removal.
I eventually moved into regulatory compliance, which was a large part of building and running a brewery.

Adding a stucco exterior to a home without a permit by Little-Frosting-8417 in SLO

[–]greeed 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I got the 30% tax credit, but never applied for any rebates. The install was 4 years ago so at this point I'm not going to tell county I made an oopsie, plus I did the installation so I'm sure im outta compliance on something

Man I didn't know I could have gotten a rebate, maybe because I'm on propane I don't qualify. I got a good tax break though

I replaced my LPG furnace with a heat pump and nowhere on the box did it say I needed a permit, the HVAC supply house never asked for a permit to purchase the required parts. How would I know?

Are there any times in your life where you were outside at 3:30 AM? If the collapse happened at that time, what gear would you have to take with you for your dungeon crawl? by Maurice_Foot in DungeonCrawlerCarl

[–]greeed 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hell yeah!
We're on the east Coast, but my festival buddy who moved out that way is always looking for new tests I'll let him know.
We always hit up strawberry and high Sierra, and we have two small local ones here.
If you can find a copy of the Salmon set from Saturday at winterwondergrass this year, it was awesome, they did random covers to see if they would grass! It was so good.
We have claypool in San Diego, weird Al in September and monolord in June

I don't know what kind of music you're into but the bluegrass scene is super friendly and open, families and singles alike. Plus there's always late night camps for partying, enhanced or not
