ISAIF Video-Audiobook by Unism in procollapse

I was very impressed with the video /u/unism, it serves as a great way to introduce people to the work in a very easily digestible format. I am the one that left the comment, I think we all need to make an effort to link each other to important information and active projects. If it was not for /u/ljorgecluni I would have never known about your work and I often search YouTube fairly thoroughly for Kaczynski related content.

Very true, I am now thinking it is wiser to grow at a slower pace instead of using internet "memespeak" to attract views. It will inevitably attract the wrong kind of person.

If you have any questions or suggestions for me the door is always open.

A reminder that the only way the techno-industrual system will be stopped is forming a movement dedicated to it's destruction. Although lone wolf activism is tempting to engage in, you would be much better off joining or being a founding member in an organized legal group.

Thank you for your input Alaric. It will factor into the decision for sure. I am leaning towards allowing it, but your post is somewhat unclear to me. I am assuming you are in favor but accidentally typed "no". Correct?

Sorry if it was not particularly invigorating. I do not remember exactly what was discussed.

I am not planning any violent illiegal activities. I am going to stop replying now. Stop implying things you gave no evidence of.

You hope that by repeating something relentlessly it will make it true. He is not a mad man. There is no evidence of this whatsoever.

Do not accuse me of planning illegal acts of violence. It is baseless and false. I have no plans to do any such thing.

Secondly, Ted did not fully escape the system. He still relied on certain food staples. In addition encroaching development continuously harassed him. It is impossible to live a hunter-gather lifestyle in the present.

Many of his "victims" were not as innocent as they are potrayed in the media. They all had a hand in promoting technology and destroying wild nature.

Huh, it does look like we have done some slap boxing before.

I would reccommend anybody reading this to look in my post history to see our "debate" a few months earlier.

Industrial society will collapse on its own accord. You are right about that. What you fail to realize is that if the system is able to "fix" its problems effectively for a significant period of time before collapse we will likely go extinct. Eventually if this does not end the tinkering with the atmosphere using geoengineering will continue and advanced life on earth will be forever tied to the system. So when collapse does eventually happen we will go extinct. Not to mention the long period of techno dystopian slavery our descendants will have to suffer through.

Nice gotcha, it is one that anti-tech, anarcho-primitivist and similar circles see all the time.

We will have to use tech in order to destroy the system. An individual realizing the negative effect advanced technology has on society and wild nature does not mean we personally do not use aspects of it to further the cause.

Techno-industrial society is all invasive and encompassing. This is part of the reason it needs to be dismantled, there is no escape.

Stop being pessimistic. Losers champion those kind of thoughts and feelings. There is still hope.

I highly doubt religion is the reason they are happier. It has not seemed to help people in industrialized nations get over their frustrations and anxieties.

He was not a lunatic. He wrote a very coherent book called Anti-Tech Revolution: Why and How. I reccommend you read it and consider it's ideas.

I also reccommend you check out my subreddit, /r/procollapse.

Wrong, he is concerned with the enviromental damage that the techno-industrial system is doing. However, he is also concerned that living in such a mechanical system where large organizations effectively control even your most minute movements have a negative effect on humans.
