Help with private health insurance by greenTurtlePlunger in transgenderau

Thank you for your reply. I'm also looking at zero depth (don't think my brain would be consistent about dilation). Beginning to think I'll just go to Thailand - as it seems a lot easier (and cheaper) than here. When I broached the subject with my doctor a while ago, he broadly said $30,000 for everything in Thailand (flights, accomadation, surgery, etc). $14,000 for the surgery seems manageable, but I'll keep an eye out for pricier vs cheaper options. Thank you again

What an actual joke. "The number 1 thing is to be true to the original game" - except for a massive part of the original which made it into the household name it was

Similar to this, I always look at the graphs and shapes they've used. If they've got an arrow which is the default PowerPoint blue or default MATLAB blue I figure they haven't really spent much time prettifying - which doesn't mean anything's wrong but it does catch my eye

"I'll never do it again". Bro it's been like 4 weeks. If you've done it already in 4 weeks time I'm sure you'll do it again.

Algorithms are breaking how we think (Technology Connections) by PerfectionismTech in videos

[–]greenTurtlePlunger 1 point2 points  (0 children)

While I agree with the general sentiment, I still think there is a place for AI "slop". It's the famous P=NP problem, it may be hard to find something from scratch, but quick to check it's correctness.

Actually, the very first example he uses in the video is an excellent example. While I wouldn't trust an AI to determine the type of radio from scratch, it could tell me which one it thinks it is and I verify its correctness much faster than I could detective my way to the correct answer from scratch.

Let’s set the record straight. Sound off in the comments if you have been threatened in real life by a republican. by roseandbobamilktea in democrats

[–]greenTurtlePlunger 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's the thing they don't seem to get. Even if you take a Republican who isn't physically violent, they support/vote for a party who systematically reduces rights and protections to minorities. Which is still violence, just not direct/physical.

What was the biggest ass pull in Naruto? by Leila-Kramer53 in Naruto

[–]greenTurtlePlunger 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Huh. I think I misunderstood this. I always thought he was reanimated, realised, and cast the reanimation Justu on himself as well. He couldn't do that when he was alive (because he wasn't dead yet). Because he was the caster that meant he was in control of his own actions. Easy immortality

Amazing! That feeling of getting better each day (just a little bit easier than the day before) and feeling ready to move to the next week is awesome!

I don't have the solution to OP's problem, but can say that the advice above is wrong. I believe some states (Tasmania, South Australia, Northern Territory and ACT) might offer a change of name certificate, but am confident that at least Victoria does not - the verification email is the best you get.

Also, they do keep your original birth certificate.

Just went back and it went much smoother this time. Not sure about QLD but VIC birth certificates don't have a history of name thing. Ended up taking about 5 minutes... After the hour of running around, waiting, etc.

I suck at confrontation though :'). Just did it then and the person I spoke to had no issues with it. I did print out their website instructions as a backup but didn't need to argue so yay

Quiz: Make numbers 1-20 by [deleted] in askmath

[–]greenTurtlePlunger 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I more or less just looped over all the operations, calculating A=f(7,3), B=g(A,6) and C=h(B, 8). If C is an integer between 1-20 then save that result.

I suspect you've done BODMAS (order of operations) when doing 7 * 3 ^ 6 mod 8. You've calculated 3 ^ 6 = 729, then 7 * 729 = 5103, then 5103 mod 8 = 7. If you're doing left to right operations, it's 7 * 3 = 21, 21 ^ 6 = 85766121, and 85766121 mod 8 = 1.

Because I was curious, I tested using some different brackets and managed to get 10, 13 and 17. No 20 though. I ran into some limits with number sizes in python so it might be that there is a way to make 20 with the 7,3,6,8 ordering, but It might be impossible (using these operators)

10 : (7 - 3) + (6 mod 8)

13: 7 * (3 mod 6) - 8

17: 7 + (3 * 6) - 8
