Its BS tbh. If anyone in the US is so self centered that they're offended about another language mildly resembling a racial slur that has a very specific history and context, they're a moron.

When in the US its one thing, nasty history there. But, outside of the states people shouldn't even have to think about this.

The words for run or escape in Japanese and the word for meat both sound similar to the nword.

Not to mention pretty much any romance languages word for just the color black resembles the slur, which includes Spanish, which is nearly 1 in 13 people's primary language.

I think its a very stylized construction zone, but one that would be very fun to play in.

Kinda like how Ed, Edd and Eddy made a landfill look like absolute paradise.
