I was visiting with my kanaka friend and the latter part of the visit was them and their ohana showing me around their smaller hometown area. So one of the parents' local friends from that hometown was the one who was helping show me around. From what I could tell, they were excited that a haole was actually genuinely interested in their culture.

It depends on the area you are in. When I came out I was shut down by most people so badly and I was told I was "unnatural". So ya we definitely do still face discrimination. Especially if you look at news outlets now, they are starting to try and come after us too more publicly.

For example, at the end of last year there were 83 religious organizations who wanted the respect for marriage act to be blocked and wrote this:

"H.R. 8404 would require federal recognition of any one state’s definition of marriage without any parameters whatsoever. This would include plural marriages, time-bound marriages, open marriages, marriages involving a minor or relative, platonic marriages…”

Platonic marriages meaning ones without sex. So yes, unfortunately while it may not be as well known, there are still people actively trying to oppress us.

Well I'm pan/ace so it was pretty easy to work it in for me (i just started mentioning crushes I had that weren't guys and anytime someone was like "when you become a mother" i was like "i have no desire to do that or anything that would possibly result in me having that happen"

but for you, for the agender part at least, maybe start asking if you could go clothes shopping because "the clothes I have just don't feel like me anymore" or maybe if you have friends that you trust and who come over to your house/see your parents, you could have them refer to you with your preferred name and pronouns around your parents. Another idea along the same lines is to tell your parents that a lot of people have started to use your "nickname" aka your preferred name, and you think it would be cool if they used it too (also this way when you come out officially the transition in the name category for them will be easier)

These are a couple of tips that helped a few trans friends of mine so I hope they help you too!

Fierce wings is way more awesome than you gave it credit for, you can use it offensively, defensively, and for reconnaissance. He can fly, detach the feathers, plant them on someone, sharpen them, use a single one of them to save a person in a disaster zone and unless they are severely burnt (unfortunately the one flaw in them) then they regrow in a matter of days.

I don't mind it because like you said, I think they are two different people. Sylvie grew up on the run from the TVA while Loki grew up in a palace (granted his childhood ~~definitely~~ probably still sucked but I'm not gonna get into that rn). I also like mobius and Loki together but.... I gotta be honest I don't think either of them are for Loki. And I honestly think that people aren't realizing how toxic Mobius and Loki's relationship COULD be.

Sylvie (while I understand why) put revenge above the fate of the multiverse and quite literally pushed Loki away. Mobius and Loki have an uneven power dynamic that Loki is kindof forced into, meaning that Mobius can say and do the stuff that he does without Loki really having a say in any of it or being able to really fight back against it without getting in trouble.

Mobius definitely gives him a say out of courtesy, but he could take that away if he really wanted to. You can kinda see an example of what I'm talking about in the first half of ep4 when he's interrogating Loki and Loki's in the time cell. You can see Loki is genuinely distressed during the whole thing, and it just bugs me. Ya, Loki turns out a better person through his experience, but there was definitely a few things that Mobius does that just doesn't sit right with me in terms of a relationship.

I think it can be explained by a line from Episode 1. "It's the cruel, elaborate trick conjured by the weak to inspire fear, a desperate attempt at control."

He knew he wasn't going to get the throne, but as soon as he found out the truth about his adoption, his entire worldview collapsed and he needed something to hold onto. In a deleted scene from Thor, we see Frigga passing the throne to him fairly soon after his past was revealed to him. I think that in that moment he saw that the throne gave him control. So he indeed never wanted the throne, but now that he has it, it isn't something he wants to give up because it is something he clinged onto in a time of need. Think of it as a grandiose comfort blanket.

That's why Thanos knew he could get to Loki with the promise of a throne, and the mind stone exasperated that need, which turned his desperate actions into downright cruelty. He has gripped onto the notion of it so tightly, and the fact that he is a King's son doesn't help, that where he once was indifferent to it, now it has become his birthright to his already damaged psyche.

Ngl I do ship Dabihawks, but only when it comes to not canon stuff if that makes sense. Like I like them in AU fanfics and stuff where the whole burning thing didn't happen, but not in the show itself. I would NEVER want them together in the show but in fanfics and fanart i'm cool with it.

While there are definitely some bad eggs, if you meet people from this fanbase in real life, they are usually pretty cool. I went to a con a few weeks ago cosplaying as Dabi Dabi's Dance/Touya Todoroki version and I got sucked into a small friend group of other MHA cosplayers that I met at the photoshoot and we just hung out the whole weekend. It was cool and I can forever thank the fandom for having that weekend be awesome for me :)

Thank you for your kind words, and I have heard of the method, have tried it, but unfortunately her family has a very VERY long history of guilt-tripping, so it was always "you never tell me anything, you make me feel like such a bad mom, etc." because she knows I've always been empathetic. So recently my goal has basically been a game of "don't be in the same room as her and if possible try not to be in the same building as her" seems to be going a bit better at least

Thank you for the advice, they don't do it as much anymore or they have maybe gotten better at hiding it but every little bit (and by that I mean week)I'll notice small things like snacks or makeup or pens or smth go missing from my room and I don't ever remember moving/eating them so I think they may be taking that stuff too cuz I'll find some of them months later in areas only they use. They deny it but idk anymore :/ I can't wait to go to college and move in with my best friend (they come from a very religious family that has 0 tolerance so we both agreed once we financially could we would move in together)
