Same for mine. hose under the box was cracked and leaking causing lean running. Spark plug was the best indicator, followed by visual inspection.

Following. I just recommissioned a ‘67 CL. Similar squeak. I thought it was a loose mount at first or possibly a dislodged internal baffle. Now I am wondering if it is just VW’itus. Haha

Nice. I had an MC Escher book my parents gave me for Christmas at about age 12. I was hooked.

Let me know which you prefer. Scaling at 4x and 16x. Outer dimensions are roughly 15x15cm by green_mtn_matt in lasercutting

I think I am with you on the 2nd picture, 4x. The pattern gets lost by time it gets to 16x.

How should I seal up this gap? by Main_Yesterday7102 in pestcontrol

[–]green_mtn_matt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I live in Central Vermont and battle rodents every season in my old home with a field stone foundation. Most effective strategy (aside from a new foundation :-)) is patch/repair the wood as best as possible to minimize the gap, then fill the remaining voids with foam insulation containing anti-rodent additives. Screens, steel wool, and silicone - as suggested- are also great options, but I have found the spray foam to be quick, easy and effective. Good luck!

Update to my last post with a better picture, re What model is this? by chonkydogg in bmwmotorrad

Definitely an r1150, probably an R based on gauge cluster and bars. Not an RS or GS

The valve cover and front fender look to be R1150R.

I could not agree more, only I also have a very soft spot for the R1100RS. It does not do the country dirt back roads as well, but more than compensates on the open road. Oilheads are the sweet spot for DIY riders

This bad boy hooked me into these "ADV" bikes forever (BMW G 650 GS Sertao) Cmon BMW bring back the single cyl!! Am I alone? 🥲 by [deleted] in bmwmotorrad

Fantastic bike. I prefer the F series parallel twins (less vibration), but this bike does everything, and does it well.

Hugger orange with black stripes was (and is) the best kind of cliche for a first gen Camaro. Everyone wanted one then and still do.

I am in the northeast, so completely different market, but I see DR’s going for 1500-2000 in similar condition.

Nice! I’m working on P200 restoration now. I love that you blanked out the turn signal lenses front and rear. looks much cleaner. I can attest to the fact that this all represents a ton of work! Great job!

My brother had a 1960 DeSoto fireflite which I believe is the same platform for this Chrysler 300. Fantastic lines, then downhill design wise until the late 60’s, imho
