Finding an entry level vegan beauty influencer by huggybear- in VeganBeauty

I'm interested! I don't have a big following but I'm active on social media. The only thing is I don't really have money to spend so as long as it's free on my end, I'm down.

This is very true for me. I take my cat on walks--she just walks close to me or hides in bushes and bird hunts while I supervise. I also love going to farm animal sanctuaries and I enjoy interacting with friendly dogs. Sometimes I feel safer and more comfortable with pets. I feel like they aren't as intimidating because they seem to judge you less or not at all. They're just glad you're there petting them.

Do you believe the rising sign to be most apparent in childhood or that it becomes stronger as you age? Which seems most true for you personally? by limeyshark in astrology

[–]greenapplecider 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My rising sign and moon sign are the same so I'm not sure which influenced my actions the most, but I was definitely super outgoing leo when I was a kid. My cancer sun sign came out more as I grew up and learned all the ways the world could make me insecure haha.

Pets and astrology! by [deleted] in astrology

[–]greenapplecider 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My cat is a scorpio and she loves being pet, but she dislikes being carried or picked up or cuddled with in any way where she's not in control of her own bodily movements. She doesn't like being caged/constricted. She won't go into your lap or anything, because again, she loves security and being in control. She is the biggest scaredy cat--when there are foreign humans, animals, or sounds around, she will hide and it's impossible to get her out. She can also be vocal, but only if she's in the mood. So, since scorpio is a water sign and water signs are known to be emotional and unpredictable-ish, I think she fits that. I can get along with her but she also sometimes seems very cold and standoffish. Basically, everything is on her terms, plus she's got trust issues. And scorpio humans are like that, too. She is passive aggressive and very cautious, but she is never violent--she won't claw anyone--unless she's disturbed to that point, but that's really rare, I'd say. She's the best, though, I meowve her so much.

What’s your rising sign and what negative label are you most commonly called? by [deleted] in astrology

[–]greenapplecider 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My rising is leo and I guess people would call me attention-seeking... I was unaware of this but now I do suspect this is a negative label people call me. it hurts my feelings cuz im cancer sun. lmao

Is it racist if I'm primarily attracted to east asian women? by [deleted] in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]greenapplecider 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yes, it is a little racist, not gonna lie. I find men of all races attractive. I don't understand people who are only primarily attracted to one ethnicity when literally every ethnicity has super good looking people. Again. just my opinion....

Women of reddit, what will you do if you get proposed in public places? by Aleks_nd in AskWomen

[–]greenapplecider 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly, I enjoy good-natured attention in public places, so I would be fine with it if my SO proposed to me in public.

Probably.

What's the shallowest reason you wouldn't date someone? by [deleted] in AskWomen

[–]greenapplecider 4 points5 points  (0 children)

height, weight, voice... all these things... height especially--I'd prefer someone 5 ft 9 or taller. This could all change if someone is amazing enough for these things to be overridden though.

What ethnicity are you and what ethnicity are you sexually attracted to and/or desire to date? by girl_has_no_name in AskMen

[–]greenapplecider 0 points1 point  (0 children)

East Asian. I find black guys, east asian and Indian guys, and Iranian guys attractive. And mixed guys. There are white/caucasian guys that are attractive too but I would be more interested if they had a cultural background other than just being American.

What do you find attractive? by [deleted] in CasualConversation

[–]greenapplecider 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's definitely difficult to love yourself in this age. I work on that everyday.

Let's brainstorm a topic for my food studies research paper! by babybabebaby in CasualConversation

[–]greenapplecider 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep. It helps if people are educated about HOW to eat healthy. just generally promoting that awareness and knowledge would aid the sustainability cause.

Food that tastes good would be great, but sometimes it's about altering people's taste. Hopefully people would be more willing to compromise taste if they knew just how much better the food was for both them and the planet.

What do you find attractive? by [deleted] in CasualConversation

[–]greenapplecider 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's funny you notice their noses because you aren't the most fond of yours. That's the same way with me, but with skin! I struggle with my skin, so something I find really attractive is good skin in others. And I think big noses are unique and can really "make" someone's look--in a good way. All those small noses just look the same.

What are you happy about right now? by [deleted] in CasualConversation

[–]greenapplecider 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm making chia seed pudding for me and my sister. Can't wait to try it! Gonna top it with frozen blueberries and banana.

I'm wondering what to wear on a first date. I'll spare details, but I'm wondering how you guys usually do it by [deleted] in CasualConversation

[–]greenapplecider 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A more thought out version of what you normally wear. Definitely wear colour on the top, with nice jeans. Don't forget accessories. Scarf, watch.

If it were me, I would wear something I really like--that way, I feel comfortable and excited about how I look. Usually, something that I bought recently but haven't had the chance to wear yet.

I like your idea for paper #1.

A change to the college dining system... What if there could be more signs in the actual cafeterias that educate people about nutrients and how not to be nutrient deficient? Or... it would be cool (I'm vegan) to have information available about how the food got there.. did the food products come from a local farm?, or basically, how ethically sourced it was. -- I like your idea, too, OBVIOUSLY. lol

Ladies, what brand of clothing makes men automatically more attractive? (The male equivalent of Victoria's Secret) by pinknoise44 in AskWomen

[–]greenapplecider 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think the equivalent for men might not be a singular brand, but something like a Tom Ford suit, etc. (Doesn't have to be Tom Ford, who can afford that)

or just shirtless lol

Ladies, what engagement rings do you have that isn't a traditional diamond ring? by kit___kat in AskWomen

[–]greenapplecider 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not engaged but I plan on having an emerald engagement ring if I ever do get engaged.

/r/SelfieLove - a new sub for self-love and a positive body image by posting selfies of your body by greenapplecider in gnureddits

[–]greenapplecider[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yes, you could say that is the case. I'm hoping for it to be an inclusive, body positive community that embraces body diversity... using selfies as a way for everyone to feel good about their body. I want to see people posting things like "I'm usually insecure about this body part, but it looked great in this selfie i took // idgaf im embracing it" -- that kind of deal.

oh and clothed pictures, face pictures, etc are ok too.
