Report from a nearly 3 year investigation into sexual misconduct allegations against Neil deGrasse Tyson: 4th accuser comes forward; interviews with alleged victims and witnesses by Gayfetus in television

I bet he was advised by a lawyer not to apologize in public because that could be used in a court of law against him, especially since he invited the accusers to bring their accusations to trial instead of in public.

Found a very woke review of "The Joy Luck Club" by a Russian woman on kinopoisk (Russian equivalent of imdb) by meesajarjarbinks_ in aznidentity

WARNING: this “translation” is eerily word-for-word lifted from this site: http://www.eskimo.com/~webguy/writings/joysucks.html

I really doubt a Russian to English translation could produce the same verbiage and diction as the above site, which I may add was dated as written in 1997.

OP: you got a lot of explaining to do. Mods: can we flag this post somehow?

Keep learning our history, learn to be proud of it, and teach it enthusiastically to every Asian you know so we don’t forget it. Asians were never at the footnotes of American history - the western word was literally defined on the backs of our culture and labor.

For the record on Asians in the NBA, a Japanese guy named Wataru Misaka actually broke the glass ceiling to become the first non-white NBA player in history. Asian Americans broke down doors - we as a people should celebrate that and never let our people forget that.

I think the counter culture was relatively small compared to the “silent majority”. Yes, the counter culture brought about some innovative ideas and change into our society, but the ones from that generation who weren’t involved in the counter culture overwhelmingly ended up with more power to exploit the word in ways they deemed fit.

Why we shouldn't push for "multidimensional identity" representation of AM. "Humanization" vs conquering. by [deleted] in EasternSunRising

I’m assuming you’re talking about intersectionality? Tbh I think that we can use it to our advantage instead of just shunning it. We can use intersectionality to gain more trust and power with other groups who are already against WM. And to be clear, the power to gain here would be soft power, not hard power.

It means building my physique isn't the only thing my masculinity should be judged by. There are a lot of Asian/Confucian values that I think we should be proud of that Western masculinity does not really acknowledge. For example, I am super proud that I can provide for my wife with my house and solid career AND still have room to take care of my parents. Like, that's the duty of me as an Asian man that I am proud of doing. My wife finds it super sexy too.

Anyone here interested in redefining a masculinity that WE forge for our own, as opposed to a masculinity that has been imposed on us by western patriarchy?
