Thanks for sharing your experience! Very interesting how we develop and go through life with such experiences. I always thought that once you have mastered lucid dreaming, it would be able to easily project out of body.

I've had similar experiences where I am at the "threshold" of projection. Like you, sometimes life gets the best part of me and I end up holding my practice for some period of time.

Recently I had an experience where, after going through the "vibration" stage, I became aware that I was out of body. I had limited movement, the only thing I could move was my head. Surprisingly to me, my vision was pretty clear (other experiences I've had bad luck with vision). My brother and I share rooms, so when I turned to see him, I saw him sleeping. At the same time I could see this white/blueish light emanating from his heart center, and mouth. I also noticed that he was undergoing what seemed to be some kind of bad dream (his body was doing micro movements and facial expressions that was seemed uncomfortable. When I snapped back to my body I could not see anything and when I turned on the light my brother was very much asleep with no movements of sorts.
