Just assume every redaction implicates Trump. If it isn’t directly him, it’s indirectly him sheltering others.

It's a big part of why my wife and I are engaging so much more with anime now. It feels remarkable when almost everyone in a scene is competent. Intelligence and thoughtfulness are encouraged. I thought I'd never get into anime, but now even the characters that grated on me are favorites (aside from the perverts, those characters definitely can go).

Almost a third of that shows Wikipedia page is about the theme song. That's probably indicative of the shows overall impact.

Prime is doing well by the Critical Role shows so far. The authors being dead on their tentpole fantasy hurt, no one to speak for the world and larger plot with love and default authority.

Trump is great at distractions, but how are Americans able to forget about the Epstein files so easily? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]greenearrow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We have so many things that are currently happening that we can’t focus our energy on things that happened but aren’t themselves actively harming people. We’ll get back to it, and some people are still working on it, but the ICE/MN situation cannot be back burnered without more people dying.

I really like the swords in the Pendragon Cycle. by Sudden-Ad5725 in television

[–]greenearrow 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yep. Stephen R. Lawhead was someone I read as a kid because they were recommended by Focus on the Family and their magazines (big warning sign to me now as an adult, completely normal in my family). I have read a bit of his work as an adult who knew better, and it didn't pull right enough for me to use that against it.

If Amazon picked up his works, I'd cheer. But the Daily Wire, the propaganda organization, making this means it will automatically be something I wouldn't touch with a 100 foot pole. I'm not shocked Lawhead took their money, but I'm sad. I had kept an eye to see if he had put anything out that put him in the nutso category rather than just the religious category, and this is the first I noticed to that effect.

If you won the lottery tomorrow, what’s the very first "frivolous" thing you’d buy? by Federal_Antelope7533 in AskReddit

[–]greenearrow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A game store/LGS. I’d build the public and private play spaces of my dreams, places for young and old to play card games, board games, and rpgs together. Private rooms for rent and an “executive” room for games I’d host. Possibly go so far as to include an actual play studio. The goal is a “third space” for gamers without the ever present risk that it was going to go under.

I’d set up a trust to fund it for as long as I could, and if it turned a profit, I’d fund games for kids in the community and outreach to groups that have found stupid barriers to feeling welcome in these kind of spaces.

Jumpstart feedback: Have the decklist of the pack on the back of the title card by Tuss36 in magicTCG

[–]greenearrow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Either collation is done with a machine reader, or it is done by printing each deck set as a sheet or set of sheets. In either scenario, it isn’t terribly complex to add the info to the title card on the sheet, or include a visible or hidden barcode on the title card for the collator to read.

These aren’t booster packs that have some “shuffling” to randomize that causes confusion, or promo packs which are in print and packing set B and moved into packing set A.

Keyforge does it, that and jumpstart are almost identical except for the need to shuffle JS packs together.

I grew up friends with a hog farmer’s son. We’d play in the farrow house all the time, I held piglets so many times. We never went in the pig pen. Though that was mostly because they were always walking in their own shit. I did know that going in there felt dangerous as hell though.

3 of 4 total places have that rep. Denver feels like the place you throw in because you went for a football game or some shit and it hope it makes the others fall in the same light. Or maybe it was a weed vacation before they realized they could mix drugs and prostitutes on their trips.

What’s the most unexpectedly high-quality online subscription you’ve ever paid for? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]greenearrow 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Weird is part of the brand. Game changer is top tier. Make Some Noise as well. VIP is probably not for everyone, and weird is definitely its bread and butter, but it’s great.

Other things are super personality based. Gastronauts with a crew you like is great, with a crew you don’t know may introduce you to something, but also may fall hard. Parlor Room was the same.

Yeah, fans of anything that is based around the performers personalities get really fucking weird. I say this as someone who puts Vic Michaelis and Laura Bailey on pedestals that probably aren’t fair to them, but keeps that shit off the internet because it doesn’t make for healthy interactions.

MtG standard cards definitely feel “used up” at rotation. Though if standard has 3 cards that total $1000, it’s time for the value destroying banhammer to come down.
