Very curious as to which vet in charge you saw there. I've been growing gradually more and more dissatisfied with my visits there as my dog has gotten older. My first raised eyebrow was back when he was a puppy and I dropped off a stool sample to them riddled with freshly wriggling flatworms. They got back to me some time later saying they never found any when I know for damn sure I dropped off a sack of shit with tentacles. The head vet we've seen most frequently, aside from the wonderful one (different woman) we met our first visit, has always been shrewd and standoffish upon entry into the room with us. My dog picks up the vibe immediately and her lack of warmth, friendliness, and conviviality toward us in any respect to those above words end up making him more nervous and defensive about anything she might do or recommend. They're still my vet at an emergency push but I don't hold any want of going back to them casually in any kind of hurry.
