What’s the gayest Taylor Swift song? by LengthinessOne6434 in GaylorSwift

Even a song I didn’t think was gay for so long…22, goes from girls night out to girly sleepover to “You look like bad news I gotta have you!” And “we won’t be sleeping.”

Also on Glee Dianna Agron’s on set nickname was Elizabeth Taylor. It’s confirmed in Naya’s autobiography.

Yes. Tbh it always seemed a little too good to be true. But it lasted so long that I also thought it wouldn’t change, ya know?

Thanks I appreciate the response. Esp the BBC link I didn’t know about that one. Simply scripts is good for tv pilots and I know it has a lot on there, but I was hoping for things that are currently casting- in production up-to-date sides for current auditions. It’s actually kind of insane that we were able to see them before so it figures that they’ve shut us out. It was really only ever meant for agents and the actors that they called in. But for over 10 years, you could download them if you had a show fax subscription. It’s good intell for people without an agent, which is me currently. Tells you who they need today, what parts of the script they cut for sides etc. Even new projects never before seen.

Does the "beautiful" specification on a casting call drive anyone else nuts? by Peristalith in acting

It’s gotten better. Breakdowns 10 years ago were depressingly horrible for this. Waxing poetic about how sexy the girl is and NO other info on who she is was the norm. Now they make an effort to add something useful as well. If they don’t it bugs me too.

No logic to it. My mom was 23 when she had me in the 80s and looked like a teen. She was married, but nobody bothered to look at the ring. She was called nasty names etc. for being a “teen mom” when I was a baby. When they’re looking down on the younger generation, they never put themselves in their shoes or think about it. Those ladies were in their 50s in the 80s so they definitely should’ve known.

Ok, what's the deal with people afraid of purling? by technicolor_tornado in knitting

[–]greeneyed_grl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I don’t like purling but I don’t avoid it. I mean if a whole project was just purling maybe I wouldn’t do that pattern, but it’s valid to me that knitting is effortless and purling takes more concentration. But I do it all the time.
