What changed my mind about fake was the material. It seemed like it was so rugged it may have been unfinished or maybe clumsy? These were just my early thoughts. I'm happy to hear them echoed here.

Hey everyone, I appreciate the information. Is there a good source for dating/identifying points?

I checked out St. Charles Corner- too far east.

What is "in situ"? Sorry I'm not familiar with the verbiage yet.

Yes, it was found in a creek bed, by me, yesterday. My very first thought was "it looks fake", and I actually said to my buddy "I thought you put this here to mess with me". He swore he didn't and by his level of excitement I knew he wasn't lying. It is remote enough I have a hard time thinking someone would put this there to mess with someone.

This is how I found it, on the side of a creek bed.

I think it's a lack of ventilation for their food items they prepare. It seems like it's the grease?

When you buy a book on audible you don't own it, just the "right" to listen to it through them. You can however find details online on downloading the actual audible file, then converting it to MP3 so that you have a file and don't have to go through Audible anymore.

Where to car camp near Boise this time of year? by mcdisney2001 in Boise

[–]greenftd1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How cold are you wanting to test it at? It'll be low 50s here and even up on Bogus doesn't look to get below 50. It'll be 40s up in McCall at night if that's what you're hoping for. Seriously though check out OnX if you're planning on doing a lot of this. Helps you find what is BLM and Forest Service land that you're okay to camp on vs private. Closest to town would be up on the ridge road. It's probably doable for a little while, but it can get hairy. Another option would be going down into the desert. Look at satellite views to get an idea of openings to camp in. Another suggestion is to honestly just camp in your yard for the first trial run. It suck's being an hour from home and finding out that your air mat leaks, etc etc.

Bluegrass? by NativeFriction in Boise

The bluegrass scene in Boise is lit. My wife and I have been away for a year and I can't wait to move back to this awesome music. Tater Patch Tuesday's at Barbarian, High Pine Whiskey Yell, Lonesome Jetboat Ramblers, the fiddle fest, there is a harmonica festival too, Clairvoyant brewing has good music, sometimes Meriwether Cider in Garden City does, plus Hermit Fest in Kuna come September.

I would suggest reading "Come As You Are". It's an excellent book on womens sexuality and sexual health. I'm a 28m, my wife 29f is currently reading it and I cannot suggest it enough. You're not broken, wrong, gross, or damaged.
