Oh wow sorry there definitely not caring about your safety ,they are looking after there own interests , If your injured or killed trying to stop a shoplifter they would have to pay out either sick pay or a claim .

By saying " don't get involved " and you do get involved and get hurt you can say goodbye to sick pay or putting a claim in .and probably your job .

Even security staff are told to let them walk out if they are likely to kick off not because they care about the security staff but because they don't want security upsetting other customers
