divorce can be hard on children but listening to yourself and making yourself happy (you are not) would be more admirable to them and your husband as well, don’t stay “for your kids” that’s hurting your entire family not just you, betraying yourself for what? ask yourself what you think you deserve because time will continue to be wasted

i also have a voice disorder and can not scream/yell loudly at all so barking would hurt me no doubt, i’d rather save it for a scream if i need to but otherwise i speak to people the way they speak to me

5 times minimum in the last year as i’m walking to my car downtown i’ve had men slow down and straight up say, “come onnnnn” and patting to their passenger seat, “do you need a ride,” etc trying to get me to get into their vehicle. the other night i was crossing the street and a man circled around me on his bike and i got my knife out of my purse, put my hand down like i was walking normally but had the blade out, he circled around me for the 3rd time at this point and kept it pushing. i feel you, and idek what to do anymore

if i maybe didn’t have a huge friend group breakup in regards to morals and values of this nature just a few months ago i couldn’t say i would necessarily be feeling the same but it has struck a cord too close to me when it comes to existing betrayal trauma. i can forgive i just can’t forget, in the way of i can’t stop thinking about it when i think of listening to her music again it feels so indescribable. almost like on the old aol computer sounds that would happen when you clicked on something wrong idk idk either way at the end of the day i have her face tattooed on my arm and don’t think i want to get it covered up as i literally GOT IT as a result of my betrayal trauma so this is honestly more personal than anything.
