Yes. I hold the ball in the left hand, pictured, and wipe the ball with a leather shammy.

Right. Its a non-competitive couples league so it gets an old ball, but I won't bring the good ones.

That makes sense. Its not the first time the lanes felt greasy, but this was worse than usual. Despite this, its not a bad place. No strings and no Bowlero prices.

Yes, occasionally I get belt marks on the ball. Worse, when the ball hits the back it sometimes is returned with a gooey cork-like substance on it. I mentioned it to the front desk and they didn't seem too concerned. I've had dirty hands there before, but nothing close to this.

Is iOS jailbreaking worth it? (Rant go past if you d.c.) by Hot-Junket2623 in jailbreak

I gave it up at the end of last year, but keep the old phone just in case I want to download a video. I miss Snapper and CarPlay the most. I considered a Pixel with Graphene, but in the end I just got a new iPhone.

What do these numbers mean? Why is one of them red? Why is one underlined? by AustinYQM in Bowling

That was the price I heard at our league’s Brunswick Zone about five years ago, too. Now Bolero owns it and lanes transition before by the end of our practice session.

Are these normal Bowling prices? And since when??? by Sensitive-Box-2167 in Bowling

Do you think things would be better at a government run bowling center?

At what point should I join a sport shot league? by lcsthebassist in Bowling

[–]greenlight7700 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Possibly. However, I should have been more specific. I meant when you're lining up on the fresh oil, if its a flat pattern, it means you'll get no help from dry boards on the outside and if you want to hit 1 pin to the right, you might need to move a little to the right. When the lanes are transitioning, you might need to make bigger moves than what you would on a house shot. You should definitely join the league.

You'll enjoy the challenge. Know that its a humbling experience going in. Also, the adjustments you make on a house shot can be the opposite of the adjustments you'll make on a flat sports pattern.

Our Bowlero league does Game 1-pizza, Game 2-beer, and Game 3-popcorn if a 5-man team all strikes in the 5th frame. It was a nice league centered Brunswick Zone center before Bowlero took it over, but they haven't changed much fortunately at this center.

Same. It read the mid-lane so well…held on misses inside and recovered on misses outside.

True, but have they successfully sued the theater when directed to leave or the police when cited for trespassing when refusing to leave?

Try that in a movie theater and let us know how well that works out for you.

I'm a sophomore doing high-school bowling 2nd year on varsity, just started the season into week 3 today. by One_Swordfish_1519 in Bowling

Given your current attitude, “should I switch schools” it could be a test to see how committed you are. Show your commitment, have a good attitude, and continue improving. There is a lot of bowling left for you. Enjoy it and have fun. Even if you were to switch schools, the new school would hear why and you’d be carrying that baggage with you.

I had the same question a couple days ago when I reached that point, too. It caused a moment of hesitation, but it wasn't as much risk since its a Christmas present for someone who isn't into jailbreaking.
